The next trailer is a given, have to see that. But that means for those who really want to save all the surprises, they will really have to refrain from coming in here.

But it's just too much fun! :)

no tv spots for me or the hype after the last trailer. i didnt see the hbo special til after tdk so that ones easy for me. ill look at official pics but no spots or other spoilers

I'm going to watch it all. :ninja: :oldrazz:

Hair whipping face is much more exciting than gun hitting face... :o
Hollywood has made a knack for popularizing love/air taps in practically all their action movies, but this was particularly obnoxious:

I can't believe that made the final cut. That's probably a good 2-3 feet between where the headbutt was supposed to connect. Terrible display of choreography and shooting. :down

What a way to propagate the unfair perception that girls can't fight for s--t. I sincerely hope Nolan does Anne more justice, in spite of his spotty fight direction and the awkward inclusion of stilettos.

Thankfully I had the foresight to bring it back to Catwoman, who is in TDKR. Do I get a star?

I'm going to try to avoid all early descriptions of the final trailer and bootlegs before it's officially released online...or I actually see it in the theaters :woot: Other than that there's no way I'm avoiding TV spots or any other promotion. It's just too hard. Especially with the lack of news now, there's going to be an major overload for me!! :word:

You know, I was thinking about Alfred in this movie. And what a life he's lived. Butler to the Waynes. They are murdered. Brings up Bruce. Watches him become a masked crimefighter. Sees him become absorbed into the role. All the while Alfred is getting older and would want a calm and relaxed final few years. A man of service and also quite lonely as well. When you look at him as a three dimensional character and not just a guy that's always there to help its interesting. I assume he walks away from Bruce at some point, but I wonder how they end things for him?

Wonder why he never got a family of his own? Maybe he swings the other way.

For being one of the staple characters of the lore, and having the closest relationship and proximity to Bruce, it's amazing to me he's never been fully fleshed out in a big way. Especially in mainstream media.

I applaud Nolan for giving Alfred a bigger role than the mere butler who makes late dinners, but I still would like a lot more from him. His history, his relations with the Waynes, his unique perspective in watching the closest thing he has to a son lead such a tormented life, etc. This would be more fitting for an elongated franchise, so I can sort of understand why he's being put on the bench. I expect to see some solid scenes, judging from that trailer however.

Alfred always was the one for orders first, life second.

He was 100% behind his military. Then, the Waynes. And, now Batman.

Read Nightwing: Ties That Bind; they touch upon his past life and how he feels about relationships and such. They've fleshed him out a lot over the 90s and especially the 2000s. One thing I'd love, is an Alfred POV comic...

I am one of those that watched way too much footage for TDK just days before the film leaving barely anything to be surprised about. This time around im only watching the next trailer and thats it, the prologue and three trailers will be enough for me.

Totally agreed. I'd love a graphic novel called Pennyworth. :word:

You have to watch this. The same person who uploaded TDKR trailer which now has over 15 million views, uploaded the trailer again only now it's been slowed down to being 14 minutes long. It's actually kind of creepy:
