What does a 400 million dollar film look like? Are you from the future?

What I ment was, that Nolans movies looks way more expensive then the budget they're set for. Unlike Raimi, who used all his 250 mill on ****ing CG in Spidey 3, Nolan makes the best use of it, all around. And the way he shoots in so many real locations worldwide, mixed with the magical cinematography of Wally Pfister, the films look like "400 million" dollar flicks. Rises will be no exception. in fact, I'm willing to bet my life that 'Rises' will be their most beautiful shot movie to date! Easier til grasp for ya?

That was freaking hilarious. I won't say Bale is spot on, for example his line at the beginning of the first video sounded off, but for the most part he really does pin down his accent. I can see what the guy who voices Freeman is going for, but he doesn't sound like him.

So... we know that the Black Tumbler was paraded infront of media while filming was going on (with the Batpod on the same trailer) but was that just a ruse by WB to distract us while the camo Tumblers went in through the back door.... or will Bruce rebuild it?

I reckon that was a spare Tumbler that they repainted into a camo one after they got it. I don't think we'll be seeing the Black Tumbler in the film.

Shame...... for me the Tumbler is just a part of the Nolan bat-Verse as anything else...

I agree, it's a shame. But you gotta admit it's peculiar when the batmobile is nowhere to be found driving on-location and all the other vehicles are. Maybe we'll see it in the batcave, as that's interior.

Well, here's a speculation... How many here believe the rumor about the running time being 2:16 hours? I, personally don't buy it. This movie will be at least 2:20, like Dark Knight. And I'll even go as far as to say that it'll be longer then that one! It seems it has the most ground to cover. A dream would be a running time of saaay, 3 hours! I doubt it though Then again - never say never.

I'd like to see it parked up in the background of the cave, or even the wreckage of the crashed one piled up somewhere.....


I suspect Bane's attack could be the mid point of the movie....

It's hard to say. There's so many things going on in the film I'd think it would be quite early, but you never know with Nolan.

Well, here's a speculation... How many here believe the rumor about the running time being 2:16 hours?

Almost none of us who were here when Gill debunked it and clarified that the rough cut was closer to the three hour mark

Yeah it'll be closer to 3 hours I think.

I think the film will have a steady progression till it gets to Bane's arrival in Gotham. It will have to to through re-introduction, and introduction of characters both new and old. I think Gordon will be doing some investigating about Bane before he shows up as well.

That could take at least 30-40 minutes.

I still find it kind of perplexing, given what I know and envision the movie to be, how the flashback stuff with the Al Ghuls fits in context with the narrative... I was certain the film would open with that stuff, but then we got the plane sequence for the prologue... hmm.

I can see the Ra's flashback sequences fitting in with Talia monologue at some point in the movie.

Ooooh man! A 3 HOUR Nolan bat-flick would be a slice of heaven! I truly think this movie will define the word epic. The word "epic", is used way to much/easily/lightly for movies that aren't that epic to begin with.

I so hope 'Rises' will knock the **** out of everything else that comes near it this year!
