in NYC we didn't have a winter, except that one day in October when Myself and Gothamgaurdian were standing out watching Matthew Modine duck for about 8 hours, and it came down like the end of time.
I think no one had a proper winter last year, here in Dallas we only got a couple days of 30 degree weather but other than that it was in the 50s and 60s.

This was one of the only really snowy environments I remember, I hope there are more like it though.

Can't wait to see that.

There was also blowing snow during the brawl on the steps in front of the city hall.

I'm pretty sure there was snow too (outside) in the masked ball scene. That was how we first found out about the winter setting. Someone saw the fake snow outside the building they were shooting the masked ball (Senate House).

Not to forget the early aerial shots Nolan got of NYC in the winter. Ahhh it's going to be so good.

Right but I was thinking more "blizzard" like conditions with covered streets/cars and big mounds of snow. They were blowing snow for nearly every sequence filmed in Pittsburgh, but not many had much laying on the ground, mostly just light dustings.

Actually, thinking of the early shooting. We might get some of that just to suggest they're in the middle of winter. Maybe not when the main characters are in an outdoor sequence though. That Nolan's rather clever. :argh:

There is plenty of snow in some JGL scenes, when he is carrying that gas-holder especially.

John Blake = Mr. Freeze? :D

I just imagined some of the action scenes outside with snow? Wow...:wow:

Does no-one read previous posts anymore? :funny:

(I just posted that video 7 posts before yours)

John Blake = Venom?

John Blake is meant to be a reformed Joker. Let me explain: Joker was the ultimate embodiment of Chaos in The Dark Knight.

Bane is at the opposite end of that spectrum: selfish, Totalitarian Order. In the intervening years between TDK and TDKR there was a power struggle within Gotham's criminal underworld.

In the violence, Joker managed to escape. At the beginning of this movie we will learn that Batman has moved on from his search for the escaped Joker and turned his attention to Catwoman's activities.

I am being a bit vague on purpose--there is so much more going on in this movie than your realize and I do not want to ruin the surprises and shock value.

Rumblings about Catwoman's thefts being related to some larger movement against Gotham reached Joker. To investigate he abandons his traditional look and uses an experimental compound developed by Conti's Roland Daggett to hide his scars.

In this new identity--John Blake--he joins the GPD with the intent of mobilizing them against Bane's League of Shadows.

His motives are in line with those of the comics--Batman is HIS. He does not want Bane to kill the Bat, nor does he want to absolute order that Bane threatens to impose on Gotham.

John Blake = A bad idea!

That doesn't sound right to me. All signs point to the exterior to that being filmed in L.A, where there wasn't snow.

If they were using snow in London it could well be for another scene though.
