Anyone think Mountain Dew will release their own (and much more superior) trailer for TDKR? similar to the way Dominos did for TDK?

I wouldn't be able to say this with full confidence until we get an actual HD version of the advert, but it looked too "clean" to be anything but a commercial.

I know it's in reverse slow-mo, but that shot seems really great. I would be happy if they put it in the movie.

He has the right not to like the movie. Negative reviews don't bother me, as long as I like the movie myself (which I hope i will).

As for negative reviews, meh. I can take them, obviously there are certain sites and critics who's word i take with a little bit more weight, but I'm confident it will set the majority of the world on fire. I paid a good 150 for tickets + travel to London to see all three Batman films on IMAX, i know two out of the three films will be good, it would be nice to know if the third was was good too.

Some reviewers didn't like TDK, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that some won't like TDKR.

The guy himself may work in the industry but how the hell do we know that what he got told was legit? Even Michael Caine who works on the goddamn films said that Nolan was gonna be making the third (when he hadn't officially signed on) with The Riddler as the villain!! So people who work in the industry can BS to.

Because some of you really think everybody will love TDKR? Seriously?

You know, as hard it is to believe, there are people on this world, who don't like me. I know, it's unbelievable, but it's true. So There will be people who won't like TDKR.

Again I think need to calm down, and think about a few things.

1. Not everyone is going to like this film. Why? No film has unanimous praise, see TDK, The Avengers, The Godfather, 2001, on and on, there is no such thing as a film that everyone loves. Does that make it less of a film? No? (Of course depending if it is good or not to you). But I think some on here expect that not one person will say anything negative about it. Of course someone will, I saw death threats over on the Spidey boards and the The Avenger Boards when negative reviews come out. Some just need to learn that this will happen, you can disagree with it but chill.

2. Having said that, this guy knew what he was doing. There will be people (even ones that are reliable with this kind of info see Devin for example) that will say negative things because they know they will get hits and attention. This guy wanted the attention, left if vague ect. So he did have an agenda with this, because a film this big that will most likely get a lot of positivity in its reviews if you say the opposite (see Armond White) some will do it purely for attention, while some will be without a doubt legit and not care for it, so see number one.

3. Just like fans on the positive side (we are all guilty of it) some on the internet get be over stating things and hyperbolic. Awful to me would most likely be where the Transformers come down at the end and say “We will take over Batman”.

4. Most are forgetting at this time the same exact thing happened as it did before with TDK. On paper many thought it was the end of the world, “Two Face dies” was pretty much the topic of the month. And most felt that the film was ruined because of it. Some still did not like it which is fine, but most found when watching the film, it worked just fine and few had issues with it. On paper anything can sound bad, but its execution is what makes it work.

Will this ending get some riled up? Yes, mainly just the small percentage of comic fans mainly purists that do not like new change, the same that hated that Two-Face died, or the Joker was not perma white. It happens some just may not like the change. But I doubt it will be some 50/50 thing like Nevincer thinks it will be. Because in the end the majority of the population even film obsessed types are not comic purists and will just judge the ending within the context of this story, not what is cannon in DCU and what is not.

This is why I wonder if I can stay away from these boards during July I did so for the most part with TDK, because things will go crazy around here that is for sure. As it does in any boards on the web.
