Fair enough. I haven't really looked into how he's handled this myself, for example his apparent "sarcastic" remarks to other moviegoers that were mentioned at the top of the page so perhaps his criticism is merited. Don't get me wrong, if he's attention seeking it's all well and good, but if he's the everyday guy in the movie industry just relaying his thoughts on something he heard then chances are he wouldn't have anticipated the rabid response from Batman fans. Not many people are aware just how passionate and over the top they are. I'm saying this as someone who's almost 99% confident I'm gonna love whatever he thought was "awful".
Believe me, he's not just an everyday guy in the industry. He's an Oscar blogger and has talked a lot about the snub of TDK, so he is well aware of how rabid the fans are. He is also a huge Batman comic book fan. Hard to say the guy is clueless. If you've ever heard him on his podcasts, you know he isn't naive about this kind of stuff. He was clearly looking for attention but tried to play it off like he wasn't.
