I was 9 when I saw it. I remember seeing the card and the first time Scarecrow puts his mask on quiet well.

Thats the other part I remember as well. I remember it scaring the absolute **** out of me. One of the only times I got genuinely scared at a film.

Guys, really terrible news. I feel badly the way we've all been building up the fact that I was going to this screening tomorrow morning, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I won't be attending it.

My best friend (who was the one taking me to this screening as his guest) just informed me that his younger sister passed away a few hours ago at the age of 18 after a pretty tragic accident. Obviously, I'm a little selfishly devastated about not seeing the film tomorrow, but there's clearly no way he can go to this thing and I was attending as his guest (with his name on the RSVP list and his ID needed at the theater), so without him, I doubt there's a way I can go.

Still, this is such a sad, unexpected thing that I can't really worry about myself right now. Two more weeks is two more weeks.

What I'm going to do is call the WB trade screening number that I have and explain the situation to see if I can still go and bring a guest of my own. I believe my name is listed as the guest so this may or may not work.

:csad::csad::csad:

I'm so sorry to hear that. My sincerest condolences goes out to your friend and his family.

Agreed, sad news...reminds us that there are more important things than movies, as much as we love them :)

I dig the poster, I kinda wonder if Batman was pasted on this background instead.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that, theShape. What a shock. :( Fate intervenes at the worst of times. My condolences to you and your friend.

Hey guys, I haven't been following this film all that much. I still plan on seeing it and I'm excited about it but could someone just let me know a few things? If they already know ofcourse.

Does batman die?
What happens to bane?
Anyone know anything about the ending?
Who dies in this?

If someone does know please tell me in spoiler tags, if not, no biggie :)

Thanks!!

I have a forwarded email with all of tomorrow's screenings listed. NYC's is far from the only one. I just called the WB trade screening hotline but it's 9:30pm here and they are clearly not in office, so I emailed the woman who runs it. I'm trying to see if I'm still able to go, or if I can take his place and bring a guest of my own.

But regardless of what happens, as someone just stated, there are more important things than movies. I just cannot believe this happened tonight of all nights, as selfish as that sounds. That's life for you, though.
