That may be, but if so, there will still be a significant jump in time shortly afterwards. We know this because the Blackgate Prison has been dedicated to the memory of Harvey Dent (via the dedication plaque), which is present for the Blackgate breakout/riot scene.

Right. I'm saying if "that scene" is indeed Bruce shortly after TDK, then "that scene" must be pretty early in the movie, and Blackgate must necessarily then be later (chronologically and in terms of the movie).

i was quiet long enough. did they maybe show Dent's funeral in TDK at the end? did they show how Gordon destroyed the bat symbol.

of course TDKR is not happening right after TDK. so enough is enough .

the only reason to start a sequel aftr the previous movie is if the plot (story) is connected to the previous movie. for example like the last Bond.

with TDKR with all the info that we have ......its not happening. so there is no logical reason to start the movie 1 week after TDK.

only my opinion. but this is how i see it.

Were the streaks of gray hair on the sides of Bale's head in there or not with the scene with the cane? That would tell you right there chronologically where it belongs. An eyewitness could say but I can't tell from the videos.
