A la the final scene of Bourne 2 being used as a crucial part of the plot of Bourne 3.

i can't lie if the first post-prologue scene is Gordon destroying the Bat Signal it'll be so dynamic and amazing.

And imagine if the funeral shot from TDK is when Bane comes in and tears Dent's pic apart in TDKR!

That worked very well indeed, but I don't see the same thing working here, there's not much to add or weave into something else.

(regarding the look of BB and TDK)

weird idea but kinda funny ^^
Are those every shot in the film side by side? If so, that is a pretty good barometer for the color palette for a film. Looking at it, it's easy to see that overall TDK has a cooler palette and Begins has a more earthy one, but they still intersect quite a bit. They're not as wholly different as one might think.

yeah i'm guessing its every shot side by side... inception looks also quite earthy... didnt felt that when i was watching it..
(it would be also a very hard guessing game.. besides matrix.. it looks soooo greeen :D :D )

I really can't wait after the trailer and prologue come out to read all the posts discussing and analyzing them. I also can't wait to listen to a lot of podcasts and commentaries about the trailer(Yes that includes Jett's podcast. I want to hear what he and those guys have to say about the trailer and prologue). Oh and watching people's reactions to the full trailer on YouTube.

I always find that fun.

Since we don't know the exact story or plot details, I can't agree or disagree with you yet.

If we just found out now that Heath Ledger was in fact still alive and that he was just awoke from a induced coma this whole time would you guys rather they finish with what they have filmed for TDKR or start over again and create the movie around the Joker again.

I think the world as a whole would be pissed for about 5 minutes at being misled this whole time but then be like, "Okay go make Batman."

I just had a thought about Batman taking a break while Bruce comes out into the limelight a bit more. The Dark Knight set up the fact that all of the petty criminals would be locked up for at least 18 months. When you couple that with two supervillians dead (Ra's and Harvey), two supervillians caught (Joker and Scarecrow), one mob boss driven insane (Falcone), at least two mob bosses dead (Maroni and the black guy from TDK), AND the cops chasing him for Harvey's death...I can see why Batman would be cool with taking a break. There probably isn't very much crime...

I think that the first half of the film will focus almost solely on Bruce starting to live up to his family name while putting Batman on hiatus for a while, the rise of crime in Gotham represented by Bane, and the origins of Catwoman. The second half will be about Batman returning while also establishing the traditional Gotham city that you see in comics (rogue gallery running amuck, Gordon turning on batsignal if the city needs help, Batman being seen as a hero, etc).

What do you think?

Idk.. Gotham looks thoroughly ****ed up in the set pics we've seen for this one.. I'm not sure a lot of philanthropy work or anything of the sort will be taking place for very long in this one.. But if I hadn't seen all these pics etc I'd say your theory sounds good..

Would everyone here totally hate me if I told you that I knew someone working on the film and only found out today? :awesome:

This isnt unreasonable. Being shot, stabbed and falling off a building is a good reason for a cane and the deaths of harvey and rachel are gonna pay a huge emotional toll on bats as well

Hehe, why would we hate you?

Because I can't say a single word. Everything about the film -- even to the cast and crew -- is so secretive that my friend was barely able to tell me he was working on it. It's almost like everyone is blindfolded when filming and must instantly forget what is shot that day.

I'd have him spend the next 3 years exclusively with his daughter and wife. I'm sure he'd want to do the same thing to. Wouldn't anyone?
