For us folks unlucky enough to not be anywhere near a good IMAX, will we get thrown a bone of some kind? Trailer 2 in regular theaters?

No one will be left out, I don't think. if normal theaters don't get something at the same time it'll be shortly thereafter.

while IMAX is popular most people don't go to the movies and choose IMAX as a default (it's expensive and a lot of people complain that it hurts their eyes and what not) so the G.A. is still regular theater bound.

This is all I've got:

We will not be treated to closeups of Batman until the new year begins but Bruce Wayne will be the man to watch for closing out 2011. Also expect the newly built batcave.

So...December? Wouldn't surprise me if the "IMAX Prologue" press release included a few stills.

In my opinion Iron Man < TDK

Iron Man = An averagely good film

The Dark Knight = An above average epic film.

So in turn, The Dark Knight Rises' amazingly epic storytelling, visuals and scenarios will make the above average epic The Dark Knight, look like the averagely good Iron Man, in comparison.

I have zero insider info and its always seemed to me as well that TDKR was going to be vastly superior in scale and depth than TDK. I love BB, I love Iron Man, I like TDK. Im pretty sure TDKR will be my favorite movie of all time.

Then again, thats what i thought about TDK and I thought Id hate Iron Man...

Have I seen the Six minutes? No.
But It's not that League of Shadows Prison break everyone's been reporting.
I think it's a big chase between Batman and the cops. Might introduce Levitt, Modine and have Oldman in it.
I also think they're working on some one-sheets that are going to be released with the prologue/trailer in December. I'll have to look into that one a little bit more though.

So he KNOWS that it's NOT the LoS/Bane prison breakout and he THINKS that it might be the GCPD/Batman chase scene?

I'm cool with that.

Eliminating the prison breakout scene increases the chances of the chase scene as the prologue since those are the two likeliest.

I have to Say the SHH forums have been good at predicting a couple of things.

When the trailer came out people's assumption about a Bane/Batman fight in the sewers were at last partially confirmed.

Then the Goggles as Ears thing turned to be very true

And the Idea that the opening would be Batman chased by cops I remember being speculated here in late spring/Early Summer.
