LOL for a second there I thought Harvey Dent was back.

Doesn't really look like Eckhart, but he's channeling a bit of his frazzled Harrison Ford. :word:

This is a really good pic. It looks like it could be an official still from the movie. Very nice.
Yah seriously. :awesome:

what about william hurt

Well he's already bat**** crazy so give him a few more years and he'll be great.

its not like bale is without his own scandals

nobody is perfect, a artist without demons is bland and boring

If that actor is under consideration for a 70-year-old retired Batman, I agree, but for the majority of other roles, I couldn't disagree more. Especially when they become a liability on-set.

so you like him for aged Wayne ?

I mean looks wise he's just right

it's the stache in the pic, also this is Wayne from batman beyond

Met Harrison Ford in Oxford in the UK a few years back. With his daughter. Nice bloke.

The official plot synopsis has been sent to these guys: http://movies.cosmicbooknews.com/content/dark-knight-rises-2012-exclusive-official-synopsis-revealed

They dont know wheather its real or not though. But it sounds kinda legit. It also sounds like anyone could have come up with that based on what we already know so...

Every hero has a journey. Every journey has an end. Christopher Nolan returns to complete the epic Gotham trilogy that launched with Batman Begins and reached the stratosphere with the billion-dollar blockbuster The Dark Knight.

Batman is now hunted by the law led by his friend Commisioner Gordon for taking the blame of Harvey Dent's murders and protecting his reputation. He must quickly deal with the arrival of new villain Bane who is bent on the destruction and chaos of Gotham City, face old wounds and get a handle on the enigmatic Selina Kyle before his city is lost for good.

Oscar Winner Christian Bale reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman for the third time along with stars Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commisioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. Inception stars Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt join the cast as Wayne Enterprise board member Miranda Tate and Gotham Cop John Blake. Rounding out the cast are Anne Hathaway as the sleek Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy as the powerful villain Bane.

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Syncopy Production, a Christopher Nolan film, "The Dark Knight Rises." Nolan directed the film from a screenplay written by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. Charles Roven, Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan are the producers, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull serving as executive producers. "The Dark Knight Rises" is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Well, it sure doesn't have commas in the places that it should. Something about it overall sounds off to me. "The sleek Selina Kyle?" Why sleek? Why the cheesy adjective? Why not just say "Selina Kyle?"

Shes a cat. Cats are sleek and hard to catch. Thats how I interpreted it.
Which would cater the idea -- if this is real that is -- that she will be more of a thief than an ally. An idea which I am more than OK with since Evil CW > Good CW.

This is definitely not an official synopsis. The wording is too amateurish.

The only thing about that synopsis that leans towards the 'official' is that it's so damn vague, otherwise everything else about it screams fake.

What exactly are the stuff that screams fake?
I personally dont see the language as any different than the TDk synopsis and I'm on the opposit side of you Bads,: the only thing that screams fake to me is the vagueness hehe :P

The punctuation and grammar is all over the place.

If it was a fanboy though would they be able to resist putting in more information. If it was a fanboy then it's almost not worth it. But from the point of view of Warners giving a general outline for Johnny Public then it makes sense. Hence why the vagueness gives it a little credibility.
