I agree. He even has a sense of humour, judging from the prologue.

hey Guys, i was an extra in the scene. (Rags i believe was there both days as an Uber Ninja)

we screamed at each other then a big "explosion goes off" simulating batman supposedly droping a bomb on one of the tumblers (from his hover craft).

This rallys the cops to charge at us full speed. before we know it we are in the rumble. In some takes, gunfire goes off and some people get shot during the initial charge (every take was slightly diferent.)

so the main explanation is that your foe is in your face before you even have a chance to unsling your AK and start shooting (remember there were hundreds of us so in theory you probably only have a shot at your friend in front of you hahah)

Hope this helps.

PS also the riot shots in the trailer are not form the wallstreet NYC shoot but rather the Pittsburh shoot.

Makes since when you realize the main composition of both sides. Bane has his professional Mercs with their weaponry, but his mob is still made up of a lot of angry civvies, who aren't nearly as well armed or disciplined. The cops may be a step below the Mercs, but they're all standardized, all have guns and a clear chain of command--but they're supposed to serve and protect, not attack and destroy. The cops can charge first, knowing they probably will actually fight better in a scrabble (minimum athletic standards are better than no standards), and the undisciplined civvies charge into the fray in response, and the Mercs probably aren't stupid enough to open fire on their own people while the cops would rather shoot the Mercs.

Off Topic, but I think we could afford just a moment. :yay:

I would honestly love to see Batman come back in full pissed off glory and put the fear of the bat into bane. Bane just thinking oh this will be easy, But bruce having taken enough finally lets loose and opens a keg of whoopass on Bane. Merry Christmas

I'm proud of myself. I resisted watching or reading any spoilerish stuff regarding the trailer as long as I could, since I wanted to watch it first on the big screen! I wish there was a pat on the back emoticon in here! haha

What a nice XMas weekend treat that Trailer was. This film seems like it will have some serious depth! Anne words to Bruce were delivered chillingly.

Banes voice was just fine and was just as chilling when he told Bruce or at least someone, that when Gotham is ashes, you have permission to die. I suspect Nolan may add some ADR work or like the Hollywood Reporter said, that he will may not re record Hardy's voice, but Nolan will definitely make the proper sound and mixing adjustments so he can be understood even more clearly during post. Zimmers new score with the pounding of the drums during the Rises chant was a nice tough toward the end.

No big deal, all should be good when the final print is released in theaters. If Nolan and Smith edit this sucker to perfection, this film could wind up being the best out of the three...without a doubt!

The trailer gives me chills!

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas fellow Hypers.

every line from Bane in the prologue and trailer is ADR. there is no way to get clean sound on set with that mask
i also like how Bane sounds

Like what was reported in THR. Nolan will make the correct adjustments with the sound in the editing/mixing in post to make Bane sound a bit more clear, during the final print. No big deal. His voice is just fine IMO.

I like how they incorporated some of the narrative in this trailer. It was a nice touch, instead of just going full blown action.

I would have liked to have heard some sound though from the football field implosion. It would have added more of a pulse pounding effect to this first trailer.

I hope WB's and Nolan give the worldwide audience a new TV spot or 1:15 trailer during the Super Bowl. They didn't do it for TDK, but since this is Team Nolans and Bales last Bat film allegedly, I think WB's and Nolan need to give the green light for a TDKRises spot during the biggest game of the year with the Super Bowl.

I would like to see that spot show a fight sequence between Batman and Bane and perhaps show more of Bane in an intimidating pose without his shirt or vest on to show the audience this guy is a beast!

I would also like to see them show Anne as Catwoman in some very Catwoman style sensual poses as well.

Let's see Batman in an iconic Batman pose, flowing his cape or raising the cape above his shoulders or something.

i can't wait and it looks like Bruce is in prison locked up with some others./

Im kinda hoping that at some point we get a shot of Catwoman bending over to pick up her whip only to show that the Catsuit has crotchless panties built in...:woot:

Merry Christmas! Good will to all men and women!
