Well Gentleman and Ladies, it has been a real pleasure to read your posts on this thread and respond to some in kind. But now I must bid adieu. I have decided that it is best to not have the entire plot of TDKR spoiled for me so close to the release.

I have already bought my ticket to the midnight showing (would have bought a ticket to the trilogy event but AMC decided my city was not worthy of it..). So now I am gonna avoid any and all spoilers like the plague friends and eagerly anticipating seeing what Chris Nolan and his team have in store for me.

I will return, much like The Dark Knight, after TDKR has been released. I am sure there will be much to discuss then.

When the dark knight came out, I recieved an email letting me know I was selected for an advanced screening of the film in IMAX, 2 days early. It was because i was on some kind of mailing list or something for batman or warner bros. I can't remember what it was, but I want to make sure I'm on that same list in case they do it again. Did anyone else see the Dark Knight 2 days early as well, and do you remember why we were chosen to see it?

I never got to see it two days early but for TDK it was a viral game and the first so many people that logged on to the website got the tickets for free.

I did, but the tickets were given to me by a coworker. He told me he was on some kind of movie review/survey list and would occasionally get advanced tickets in the mail.
