It'll be the first time in my whole life that I watch a movie in an Imax theater....

Matthew Modine, quote:
"Legends don't die, you see. People die but legends live - and what Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale have created with this story will be stuff of legend."

Imagine seeing some of the shot's we've seen in the TV Spots/trailers in IMAX? I mean, they look incredible on my computer screen.

Please grab a calculator and work out the square inches for an IMAX screen then the same for your screen and see how many fit in :woot:

It'll blow your socks off.

I hope the next spot we get is all-new. Some shots we've seen before, but not a rehash of the first four.

Another question, which I'm sure has been debated ages ago.
In the trailers and tv spots, we see John Blake talking to a little boy. "Do you think he's coming back" he says, while using chalk on a brick, forming what people instantly think symbolizes the bat-logo. It 95% does... But has any one ever given any thought to the chance (possibility) of that logo NOT symbolizing the bat-logo, but instead it'll end up proving to be the logo of Robin's? And the boy (who could very well be a street kid), will during the end be referred to as no other then, Dick Greyson???

HIGHLY unlikely, I agree. But could it be the case?

This film will blow us away no matter what screen we watch it on.

How many tv spots do film's normally carry? This would be our, 8th IIRC. Can we expect much more?

Damn I wish that Gordon/Bane interaction spot was real :csad:

No, it could not be the case.

Also, why would they use the Robin logo on the official film soundtrack?

I really want to see the Crazy!Bruce/Maid!Selina scene. :awesome:

One of the biggest IMAXes is 5000 square feet...a laptop is like..what..1 ft square? lol oh boy.

Wonder how many of my 51inch tvs it'd take up to make an IMAX..

I want to see that infamous scene of Bruce riding Alfred like a horse before yelling "quiet or Papa spank" to Selina dressed as a maid.

You lucky bastards D: I've been checking all theaters in my country; no presales, no IMAX (the closest they got is "XD room" 19x32 ft screen) ... so frustrated.

After emailing Cineworld and Vue Cinema, I believe we can only pre-order in the UK a week before the release? Anyone else confirm this?

I half feel your pain bro, I have no IMAX cinemas near me.

On IMAX.com "Over an hour of footage shot in IMAX"

IMAX in Birmingham is telling me two weeks before release.

Off topic, but SFX Magazine did a public vote several months ago for the 100 greatest Sci Fi, fantasy, and horror movies of all time. They released the results in a special issue this month, and they are based on over 10'000 public votes: http://www.sfx.co.uk/2012/05/21/new-sfx-top-100-movies-special-out-now/

I just picked it up. Batman Begins scored at #48 and The Dark Knight at #10.

Well done to Nolan's Bat movies.

have you ever thought about the possibility of the difference in runtimes between regular and IMAX are the trailers? Maybe the IMAX showings won't show any trailers and the regulars will (I'm hoping for a Man of Steel teaser) and thats why there is a 16 min difference
