Walkt is kinda like the opposite of Dexter in terms of character development. Dexter is already a killer and he tries to find his humanity - tries to be more normal. Walt on the other hand, starts of a normal ordinary guy who finds out he's got cancer. From that point on, gradulally he's losing his humanity and slowly becoming more crazy as he makes crazy decisions.
