hes not called a "killer" in the move, but yes he kills around 10 people in the movie.

Knightmare scene or not?

I personally hate the idea. I've seen the cars exploding in the trailer and I was like "oh, it can't be Batman".

I've never been hung up on these no kill rules, infact I think sometimes they're downright stupid.

We see him snapping a soldier's neck in the trailer during the Knightmare scene.

Batman Returns is my 2nd favorite Batman movie and he killed a lot of people in that movie.

I think it has been stated that Batman blows up the SUV's with the Batwing as seen in the trailers, and that in the warehouse scene he jams a flamethrower and when the person tries to use it, the flamethrower explodes burning the main alive. Those are the two closest things to Batman actually killing someone.

Though it's revealed that the Bat brand is saved for the worst of criminals (rapists, people traffickers, etc.) and that basically sentences you to life in prison.

he doesnt jam it, he firest at the tank and it blows up.

I haven't been following this thread, but I think that's some kind of dream sequence, right?
It's supposed to be a vision of a possible future and if this variant cover is true then Batman uses a gun in the Knightmare scenes as well.

The plot description did say that he is rescuing Martha Kent during the warehouse scene and if he's killing during this scene it's probably because he sees it as his chance to meet his parent's killer. Batman did realize that Superman's mom and his mom both share the same name. Kinda like how Keaton Batman didn't actually start killing people until he was reminded of his parent's death with Joker's line. "Ever dance with the Devil in the pale moonlight?"

Batman breaks bones and some criminals likely end up disabled as well as let some to die, That's in the comics that includes the last 10 years.

Might as well kill directly/straight up.

The obvious reason why Batman doesn't kill the joker is he would have been dead decades ago and be permanent dead or return from the grave literally thousands of times more than he has now.

The rule may be been a thing for years now but he was created as a killer and that's how he was intended to be and not a goodie too shoes hero like Supes. Batman was brought to us dark and a straight up punisher type killer

Good god, no. Let batman be batman and the punisher be the punisher. Batman doesn't kill. End of story.

I talked to the guy in alot of private messages that wrote the whole movie desc. and as it seems he isnt freaking out or anything he is calm and collected, and he even knows the guy that is holding the flamethrower, bats just goes "meh, lets just blow him and and burn him to death."

People who say "Batman doesn't kill", please consider the following: This is a Batman that has lost a lot in his life. He likely has either lost his way, or felt like he has to fight cruelty with cruelty and has a no-****s given attitude.

I can't really blame him with how he turned out with a dead Robin, and probably a LOT of ******** in the Gotham Legal and Police system.

Is Jason Todd holding the flamethrower?:o

Is there a wrap-up post in this thread somewhere that details all of the spoilers in one spot? Looking for info on Aquaman's appearance and if we've pretty much seen everything on Wonder Woman in the trailers. Thanks!

I'm fine with Batman killing in Knightmare since that is essentially the apocalypse and the whole world has gone to hell. There is no more justice or order, it's just chaos. So in that context it makes sense for Batman to kill or even use guns. It's a mad world out there.

As for Batman killing in the normal world, for me it depends. No, he shouldn't be the Punisher in anyway shape or form. However, if Batman had to run against time to save someone, and he had to dispatch a large number of foes in a short amount of time, then I could see him using guns and killing. So going back to the Knightmare scenario, Batman would only use guns in a last ditch effort. Whether it's the apocalypse and there is no order, or he has only a couple minutes to get from A to B and dozens upon dozens of foes stand in his way, then I am totally fine with Batman using guns. He's not using guns or killing in the same manner that Punisher kills, he's doing it because the situation absolutely calls for it.

Wouldn't be the first live-action Batman who kills. Keaton's Batman killed all the time. If people are still in love with that Batman after all these years, then people will be ok with Affleck's Batman killing.

theres alot of fighting for wonderowman in the movie, and we see a recording of aquaman underwater and him destroying the camera drone thingy he is being recorded with

I'm still wondering how well Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot act off of each other. I want to know what the chemistry is like between them.

That's a horrible addendum. That character isn't Batman. It's The Shadow with pointy ears.

No. That's not an "addendum". That is Batman, as created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane. That's how Batman started out. That's how his creators created him.

wow the people posting old comic pics of batman killing and pics of very alternate universes batman are soooo sstupid, get a grip.
