But her not wanting to be a hero as haephestus claims is still dour. Like honestly, I would like to image there's some level of positivity in this series where the heroes are actually heroes, and not people who aren't sure about themselves.

But I don't think that's how the movie ends. It will have dour notes. If Roven or Mrs Snyder is to be believed this movie will end in the modern era. If the last couple of scenes are in the modern era...they will be past BvS scenes...meaning she's back in full hero mode...possible dealing with the lead up to JL.

my cinema audience actually laughed at the jar scene in the court.

_

wait i thought the only reason that diana wanted that picture was to destroy it or whatever so no one knows about her identity. but it having emotional value makes more sense now.

Possible, but then we've kinda missed a piece of character development.

The ending is so wonderful I thought, perfectly sets up JL.

Can't wait to see it a second time, i think it's needed, the film is really dense when you think about it. Extended cut will be a treat too.

The senate scene really shook me, that's the moment everything clicked for me.

The on,y thing we know about the WW movie is...its bookended in the present and its set in WW1.

That's more than enough to predict the ending, the RT score and whatever other ******** the pessimists come up with. :oldrazz:

Am I the only one who thought that was funny? Blowing up a room full of politicians and journalists is not really a bad thing. :woot:

It's anything but funny really.

I wonder if there's more to the senate scene in the extended cut, I too expected Supes to defend himself, but then when the explosion happened, I just didn't expect it at all, and then it got really emotional.

lol, yeah, i have to laugh at suddenly deciding wonder woman which comes out next june is going to end on a dour note and lack character development.

I just realised superman was so upset because he thought that paralysed guy hated him so much that causing everybody's lives. He didn't know the bomb was set by lex luthor.

I love that scene with Lois right after the bombing when he realizes he didn't even see the bomb when he should have seen it.

Maybe maybe not...hard to say at this point.

True. I don't know if haephestus interpretation is correct about her in BvS, to be honest she's barely in it for me to have any real sense of who she is as a person. I will say though it does make sense, but if that's the case then that's a character arc wasted on this film and would have been better served as a narrative in her solo movie.

Just got out from seeing it on IMAX. Loved hearing the audience audibly sniffling at parts of the movie.

What the hell was up with Flash's costume. It looked weird and goofy as hell.

The homage to Crisis on Infinite Earths was cool though. Flash warning Batman about Superman and Darkseid (Rather than Antimonitor)

I didn't like Wonder Woman. The character didn't need to be there. They could have easily left her out and it wouldn't have impacted the story in any way.

This is just a guess but it seems like there was a suit over the Flash suit which may have helped him time travel.

Just putting this out there....about Supes calling his mother "Martha".....I was 52 years old when my mother died....and not once in those 52 years did I call her by name...she was always mom. Mom.

Did he say "I have to save Martha!" or did he say "Please save Martha!"? Because if he's pleading with Batman to save his mother in his final moments, it makes sense that he'd use her name.
