It was definitely unintentionally hilarious.
When you break down the dialogue it is pretty silly what he says ha. But I still found it cool and very exciting to see overall.

Also kind of surprising that Bruce doesn't say a word. It's a bit dumb that it was technically a dream within a dream. He snapped out of the Knightmare to awake to Flash and then after the Flash message he jumped back in his chair holding his chest. The guy should have had a heart attack at that point.

Can anyone please for the love of god explain to me what the hell this was supposed to mean and why it mattered to the story. I've been asking for a few days now

I thought it was one of the motives Bruce had to fight him, he was saying that if there was even 1% chance he could turn into a villain then It was definitely going to happen, not now but in the future. That message is the confirmation he had to kill him.

In Injustice:GAO Superman turns into a heartless ruler after Lois is killed and all the other heroes join forces against him. I hope this isn't a confirmation they're going to do it. I'm afraid Flash's dialogue tells us exactly that. " You were right about him! You've always been right about him! Fear him! Find us! You have to find us"

Some of you are dismissing this message saying it served no purpose, but what if it means something? Superman says "She was my world" 3 times. Even in that imaginary talk he had with Jonathan and pa Kent talks about Martha. he even says "she was my world"

Too many references to this.

damn it Snyder, don't even think about it. :csad:

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a video game and comic series. You should check them both out.

Pointless fan service that serves no greater importance to the plot. Of course it and other "easter eggs" distracts fans from realizing what a cluster**** this movie is, so I can't say it doesn't serve a purpose.

Except my sold out viewing got no reactions out of that scene. I looked around to make sure. My reaction was....

The [BLACKOUT]Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman[/BLACKOUT] scene fit so well as a post credit scene. It even had a perfect set up. But no...oh no. :cmad:

Superhearing is hardly an exact science...

He could hear Lois all the way in Africa (not even calling for help) but couldn't even hear his mother hidden like two miles away. That's not science that's ********.

But he obviously doesn't see Martha as his mother. Not even enough to call her mother instead of her first name in a scene where she's in peril and he's about to die.

**** that Martha Kent woman. She only raised him and sewed his cape. Why does she deserve the title of mother?!

I'm baffled that people think that the Knightmare sequence and the sequence with The Flash was pointless. Those are parts of Bruce Wayne's discovery of the existence of other metahumans, which is not only a key subplot in the film, but key to his relationship and feelings about Superman, in multiple respects.

Martha Kent has ten minutes to live. Batman promises Superman he will find her. Within that ten minutes Batman is able to get back to the batcave, change out of his mecha-bat suit, get into his regular bat suit, jump into his bat plane, and track down the guy who has martha kent even though there is no reason for him to know that particular guy is holding martha other than the fact he's a bad guy whose phone batman is able to trace.

Bruce had no idea at the time who was even coming through a portal or what they were even talking about. He evidently has nightmares often why would this one stand out?

Okay I say this having seen it twice and as an unconditional supporter of Batfleck... this movie is a god damned disaster.

I'm still seeing it again tomorrow though. The 25% or so of it that's really good is worth it.

So Batman has a "vision" of a future where he A. imagines Darkseid's symbol B. images Parademons and C. Superman being villainous. Do he's a psychic now? Is that a new Bat-power? The Flash part was after the dream.

And how in the hell are they going to do it when Superman if ****ing dead?

He could hear Lois all the way in Africa (not even calling for help) but couldn't even hear his mother hidden like two miles away. That's not science that's ********.

We don't know that he heard her all the way in Africa. He may well just have discovered she was there and gone to rescue her.

He tells Lois several times that she is his world. He obviously cares about her safety.

It's a fictional movie featuring a guy who has superhearing. If you're not going to suspend your disbelief at all...I don't know what to tell you.

Can we also talk about the ''Is She With You?" makes no damn sense. Why is Bruce confused about Wonder Woman showing up? It's partially him that gets her to come out of retirement.

He saw a woman who looked as similar as her in a picture that he sent to a woman that looked the same as this woman. So you can't tell me it's a ''Secret Identity" thing.
Superman says "Is she with you" to Batman not knowing anything about the picture.

Then Batman says back to him "I thought she was with you" when he sees her as WW with his knowledge of the picture. He probably wondered that they might have had something in common when seeing her revealed. It's not like he knows about Themyscira and all that jazz.

Who's to say he didn't have his regular suit (with the exception of his cowl) under his armored suit? And the Batwing could be sent to him via auto pilot.

As far as the Russian, it was made pretty clear early on by Bruce and Alfred that the Russian was working for Lex.

Is Injustice a comic?

A comic and a videogame.
Even here Clark is in sync with her heartbeat.

Lois is pregnant, the joker kills her in the most terrible way possible and he just snaps, he blames Batman for not killing him before.

It's exactly what the nightmare and flash's dialogue said. :csad:

And how in the hell are they going to do it when Superman if ****ing dead?

Because this is all after the Death of Superman and his return. It's an AU story set during the time Lois & Clark are married.

In some versions of the story, Darkseid uses technology to send visions to crush people's spirits. It's a type of infection of the soul. Like a virus almost. An advance attack.

God forbid there be any mystery or intrigue to this franchise.

But he obviously doesn't see Martha as his mother. Not even enough to call her mother instead of her first name in a scene where she's in peril and he's about to die.

I called my mom by her first name once. Once. Couldn't talk right for a week.

This is why people are liking the film.

They're drawing lines where things should have been but weren't.

This should have been the point of Wonder Woman and the other "meta-humans" in the film. But it wasn't. Bruce didn't react to them at all. He was completely passive.

If Snyder and Terrio had any sense, the film would have been Superman seekinig out people like himself, Batman watching from a distance and believe Superman is forming some kind of army a'la Flash's vision.

But no.

I interpreted that as Clark just using his super-hearing.

But....
Bruce had no idea at the time who was even coming through a portal or what they were even talking about. He evidently has nightmares often why would this one stand out?

You're asking why an experience where a guy in a costume appears from a portal of some kind and begs for your help would be memorable?

Yes, this is what I'm saying, it's not a dream, it's a flashforward.... :csad:

It's what I've been saying. Sure DC fans could/should LOVE this movie for its imagery and world building but they are so wrapped up in the visual comic booky smorgasbord playing out they are using their catalog of back knowledge to fill in major, important plot points and character arcs. Love it all you want. But understand why you love it.

We know that most of the Batsuit was underneath the mechsuit. I'm guessing the cowls only had to be switched out, which he could do in the plane.

Alfred did all the tracking because he was listening in.

Honestly, my biggest problem with that is that the hour didn't move at an actual pace at all. They wanted us to believe that the scene between Lex and Superman lasted 26 minutes?

Lex set the timer for one hour right when Superman showed up. Their talk lasted, maybe, five minutes. But as Superman flies over to Gotham, we see another timer, and there's only 34 minutes left?

I call BS on that.

Are you for real?

So in MoS he didn't pummel Zod for threatening his mother, calling her Mom several times in the movie. And he said "You must save Martha" with Batman's foot on his throat because "You must save Mom" makes more sense? He could have said "You have to save my mother" sure, but he went with her name.
