BvS The Unabashed SPOILER Thread. ENTER AT OWN RISK. - Part 6

Aquaman's cameo was horrible. It looked like a shampoo commercial, plus it looked like he was on the brink of passing out from holding his breath for so long.

The Cyborg one was okay…..although a little B&R campy….

The Flash cameo in 7-11 was…okay…still not fond of Ezra Miller….

I thought the cyborg one looked cool.

The flash one was fun.

And the aquaman one could've been better.

The wonder woman file was okay, the music played too long and loudly over it and it held it there too long.

Aquaman looked a bit weird to me as it looked like a human under water, holding his breath and his eyes not being fully comfortable.

WW looked the best, but it's primarily the photo I liked best.

Flash's clip was fine.

Cyborg's clip didn't resonate well with me at all. It didn't look cool to me and felt over the top.

The scene with Lois at the beginning and the photographer. Do cameramen still use film these days; as assumed everything was digital...?

Yeah man some actually do. Some nonsense about digital and actual film ans the graineness if that's a word but i heard becore about professional photographers wanting actual film

U got all that from that clip? Well he is half human so i assume he would look human. Its just a clip man, some of you guys over complicate things.

I saw what he saw... The obvious breath holding and being uncomfortable. The film had already lost me with BatFleck's bat mobile rampage, but this was just hilarious. And the texts to Diana? Lol. I expected him to ask "a/s/l?" At least he didn't write "who r u"

Why wouldnt Aquaman hold his breath? His lungs would fill with water.

How is that something to describe as "all that"? How long time do you need to see someone's facial expression?

I had just expected them to go about shooting him that it would seem less effortlessly, just like how superheroes that fly don't look affected by the wind factor.

If anything it seems like you're making a bigger deal out of my comment than I made out of that clip.

To answer the masked statement in form of a question, it would be if they used a version that could breathe underwater, as he used to be able to (not that I know if he can or not right now as I'm not reading his comics). The point was more about it not looking easy, like you'd expect for someone that at the very least can hold his breath for unknown periods of time.

I agree with Mjölnir. He looked like a person who was uncomfortable in the water, not the other way round;which is what Aquaman is supposed to convey.

Was anybody else kind of put off by Ezra Miller's Flash when he appears to Bruce? It was short and all he did was yell. But it just felt so unnatural to me. Kind of worried I won't accept him as Barry Allen.

I'm fairly certain Jason Mamoa is not uncomfortable in the water. Nor are there contextual clues to say Aquaman looks that way. Consider the pressure of the water, and that he's annoyed by being surveilled. This is really reaching.

Momoa uncomfortable in water? I'm pretty sure that questions been asked of him before and his response was classic.

It's gotten insane, hasn't it?

You're not the only one. All I read on here is that the guy is such an amazing actor and that he's going to kill it but I'm far from convinced - just doesn't seem a good fit for Barry. Doesn't help that he's still got long black hair and facial fuzz.

I didn't like him either. In fact I wasn't keen on him when he was cast either. The rest of the castings I am happy with

Long time no see, man.

The people whining about nit-picking are really making a hen out of a feather. How horrible that someone had an opinion about the look of a character. That must be the first time that's ever happened.

And it should be obvious that it was not about Momoa being uncomfortable but that humans look uncomfortable. Just like they do when getting wind in their faces, but superhero movies remove that aspect, for example while flying, just to make it look better. This is a character that I expect will move very unlike a human under water, so therefor it's interesting to see bits of how they portray him in that environment.

The performance didn't bother me, but the placement of the scene did. That whole segment of the film had no flow.

wow the haters are still at it? that's some deep obsession you guys have with running this film into the ground. most of you aren't even regulars on this particular forum. but now you're everywhere non-stop and picking at the smallest of nits.
Don't you have better things to do?

i agree - i hvnt posted much at all but i've followed the film here for the best part of two years but this place is absolutely poisonous at the moment
