In fairness, they've kind of been gradually building her up since, like, season three. This is just the only season where she's been shown to be a semi-capable force on her own.

I agree. And I roll at my eyes at people saying "well, you shouldn't be on social media around this time". Really? So we're suppose to stay away from it until we finally see the episode? That's like saying you should stay away from social media until you've seen an anticipated movie. I wasn't spoiled by it since I scrolled down my news feed fast when it happened, but I definitely can understand west coast fans getting upset over it. In fact, I don't recall them ever doing this when the other characters died.

Pretty much...yeah...you should if you don't want to take a risk of being spoiled. There are just some places on the internet you avoid if you want to be surprised. But I can agree on the shows main FB issue.

You don't go on Twitter. That much is indisputable. Too much retweets, live tweets, trends, etc. It's too dangerous if you're trying to avoid spoilers. Avoiding forums related to the show is also obvious.

Facebook should be a safer place, though. I've never heard of this kind of thing happening on FB and it's s***ty that it had to be this episode where those idiots decide to put it out.

1. I was pretty unimpressed with last week. For that reason at least, I liked this ep.
2. Carol dying /crying at the expo must have been a misdirect
3. "I Get It Now", I don't. Surprise end to Beth though, didn't see it coming like that.
4. I suspect the reason Maggie never mentioned Beth was because we had to wait a season to find out what happened her. We would have been complaining about her mentioning Beth TOO MUCH then. Fans be fickle.
5. I think the fact nobody took up Rick's offer was a callback to Dawn saying they always come back. The Old Man, The Doc, The Rapist Cops, the hospital was a haven for cowards. They should have mowed them all down and taken over the hospital, or at the very least commandeer their vehicles. All that walking, I would have given up miles ago.
6. Has the end credit scene been posted on YouTube yet for the Non-US folks?
7. Loads of arcs were tied up in these 8 episodes, i can't guess what's next. Haven't read the comics, have we departed much from them? Are those Biker Dudes that Daryl was with still alive? Who's the big bad for the 2nd half of the season??

I think it will be Morgan who brings Rick back from that edge he's been on. Figure he can relate to it all. Morgan seems at peace for the most part. I think Ricks rage starts and ends with his beard, I bet if/when he shaves it he will become a little more level headed, well until the next travesty happens. (some pics showing him couple months ago fully shaved)

At least Maggie gave a damn when she saw what she saw. Where was her concern when they were reunited with the group for the first time ? The Beth & Maggie stuff was poorly written

Rick's run-by disembowelling of the zombie and mowing down officer Sitwell was awesome.

Rick Grimes has been on-point this season.
Rick was right about but the rest of the group refused to listen to: 1) we need to put the Terminus crew down; leave no survivors 2) Abraham's crew shouldn't leave; the group is stronger together 3) we need to take the hospital by force; we have inside info and the element of surprise.

Perhaps the Ricktatorship needs to come back.

Oh knock it off. She asked Daryl about her sister at the beginning of the season. Finding Glenn, who if you recall was sick the last time Maggie saw him, was her first priority, but Beth was on her mind. She found out Beth had been taken and had virtually no clue how to find her (even Daryl didn't, it was just by chance that that car drove past him twice), and there were consistent obstacles they had to overcome on her way to that moment. Can they go look for Beth after Terminus? No, they needed to find shelter. Go look for Beth after finding shelter? No, they had to deal with the cannibals that just cut Bob's f***ing leg off. Look for Beth after dealing with the cannibals? No, the agressive, angry a**hole that wants to cure this thing just used her as a bargaining chip so he'd help deal with the cannibals. She might not have been wringing her hands over Beth every five f***ing minutes like I'm sure some fans would prefer, but it's not like there weren't bigger conflicts at hand for her. And we don't know what they're going to do going forward. Maybe putting Beth on the backburner all this time is going to play into her emotional state for the next half of the season.

Yeah, I agree with this. Maggie hasn't given two sh**s about her sister since the prison fell. Darryl likely told her she was kidnapped, yet I didn't see any of that "WHERE IS GLENN?! WE'VE GOTTA FIND GLENN!" fire she had when Glenn was gone.
