makes sense since it seems Kinect is integrated into its functionality. You probably can use just the controller but it wont be nearly as efficient nor take advantage of the system's features

I luh-huv the fantasy sports aspect to ESPN, but I'm tentatively gonna wait to see how it plays out IRL. The problem is that XBL ESPN is severely neutered, and you don't get the big games that you actually *want* to see. Enough of this ESPN3 "College Lacrosse" and "NHRA Drag Racing" BS....we need licensing for the core stuff --- NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, UEFA etc

I like the name. It lets them avoid the 720 thing, that I thought was dumb, and avoids any other subtitle names that all seemed to not really sound good.

X1 makes for a simple abbreviation, too. Like PS4.

All this stuff like Skype & Kinect aren't that good by themselves but when you can use them all together at the same time they'll be able to do some really cool stuff.

The 8GB Ram is what I'd expect as standard for the next gen. Sufficient for many years but no more than PS4 (who have GDDR5 RAM, don't know whether XBox has GDDR 5 or 3 yet (3 is inferior)). Didn't catch the other specs if they were mentioned.
