The Xbox One

I'm not talking about the game only coming out to PS4, I'm talking about exclusivity to DLC, like MS has had for 3-4 years, now. That, and any kind of promotion would be branded as Xbox. Same thing with the Arkham games and PS4.

Of course it matters. Before BO2, COD was exclusive to Sony, and the PS3 is where most of the people played. Before that, Halo was the big thing for Xbox. A lot of the COD community goes to where the exclusivity lies. From tourney players, to youtubers, etc.

And I'm not saying people wont play it on the X1, but it does make a difference.
Oh yeah that's true. I agree it makes some difference even if it has no value to me. I only care about timed exclusivity (even on the whole game) on maybe 2 games. Anything else I don't mind waiting at all.

I never buy COD maps anyway. I do burn out on the default maps and all, but the DLC is just too overpriced for COD.

And with the PS4 having about double the amount of units sold as X1 according to you and selling more of the game as it stands anyway, exactly why would Sony feel the need to pay Activision up for CoD exclusivity?
Dude, I don't need to explain any further. I already gave a you a quote saying that Sony is most definitely interested in COD. All I'm doing is trying to help you understand why they would, and how it does help. You obviously can't understand it or just don't care, and that's fine.

But I don't know why you act like they're not interested? Just google it, you'll see plenty of insiders talking about how Sony is interested.

I should've picked more carefully where I got my 3d party xbone thumbsticks. these look pretty fake, don't they? that point in the middle of the top of it, isn't really even there.

Cool,Now let's see if they can get a streak going like being the biggest seller all summer

Given that Sony intends to do nothing, maybe.

Provided they don't **** up Halo 5.

Yeah.. I don't hate Sony, not at all. I just have this weird feeling that they're.. Either content or believe they can't be beaten.. And.. We'll see, but they legit seem to be just resting on their current numbers. They've got Uncharted coming and I guess we'll see what else come e3 but so far I still think the Xbones future is brighter.

as a PS4 owner, I'd have to agree with that.

Sony has been resting on their lead.

To be fair, mS acted similarly last gen and the PS3 did end up matching the 360. Maybe not here, but worldwide.

Yeah I had a PS4 but traded it due to the fact that I had a "get an extra 50 dollars" coupon which took my trade up to 375.. Seriously almost getting full price for it was awesome. Also because the only thing I was *really* interested in that wasn't 3rd party was Uncharted.. And I'll get the obvious uncharted bundle when it hits.

Plus like i said earlier I don't want to hate on Indy games.. But honestly I don't care all that much about them.. At all... And it felt more like an Indy Game Station.. And like it was said elsewhere in this post.. They're almost becoming shovel ware.

Bruh...

Yeah, indie games are awesome. It's another reason why I want a PS4. I hear Resogun is amazing, and being a huge Metroid fan, I wanna play Axiom Verge really bad.

It's really true. Again I'm not saying they ARE.. But the amount of Indy games that come out.. in I swear one week.. Just blows my mind. Theres a new one every other day it seems and they way they're used it's like they're doing it to fill gaps in AAA release dates.

People gush over them because they're not big studio backed.. and I swear that's the main reason. Resogun is cool.. for a few days.. then it wears off and you realize you're just flying around in circles over and over again shooting **** trying not to die.

That same thing.. Repetition.. is what AAA games get ripped apart for.

Sure, there are indie games that you can classify as shovelware, but equating indie games as a whole to shovelware is kind of nonsense is what I'm getting out.

Well I basically agree with that..

Which again.. Is why I view them more as the hipster wallflower. :p

Resogun isn't even an indie game.

small game =/= indie game

Indie games are fine and many are really fun, but for me they are the side dish while the AAAs are the main course. If you took away AAAs entirely I don't think I'd keep gaming while the reverse is not true.

oh, you traded in your PS4? :(

well, that's good you almost got full price for it.

there was a time last year when I seriously considered selling my PS4, too. I think it was during the lull in game releases. Wasn't really using my PS4 much, especially since I couldn't really use it as a full media center like I could on the PS3.

But, I'm glad I held onto it. Media features aside, I've been overall happy with my PS4. It hasn't given me really any trouble and everything still is super fast to download and install.

And I think that's why it's hard to justify owning both consoles - unless there are exclusives on both that you absolutely want to play.

I agree.

I didn't buy a new gen console to play digital indie games. I bought it to play those AAA titles.

Indie games are appetizers that I only get once in a while. Some are actually great but most of them are just filler to me for a few hrs or days. I like that arcade/indie games exist and successful but personally..I'm just way more into some AAA titles and big studio backed games.

My issue with indie games is that they have become Sony and Microsoft's way of not giving away triple A games. Granted, I actually like a few indie games, but most are overpriced mobile games.

That's why I laugh when people say Sony has given away x amount of free games. Like I would ever pay 15 or 20 bucks for Secret Ponchos or Hohokum.
