Like I said I have 11 games installed and 11% used. A 4TB is 100 more.. The cheapest 8TB external is 299.99.

That's... Crazy. A little work to save money makes sense to me.

It's not that long at all. You don't have to do a full uninstall.. Just the main game. You keep your saves, patches, DLC, etc.

oh.

so when you delete a game, the updates/patches stay on the hdd?

my X1 is the 1TB model, and I also have a 2TB external that I got for a good price.

so, I think I should be good for a long, long while. lol

If you so choose. I never "uninstall all" I just install the game.

oh. thanks. that's good to know.

now, when you save the games to an external drive, does that also save the patches/updates/dlc on the external drive, too?

what about the saves?

Huh? You can chose to just uninstall the game and not the patches and stuff? I only see uninstall all when I go to do that.

ok......now I'm confused......lol.

I'll have to look myself later on.

and I just looked, and all I see is the option to "Uninstall All."

I hope the dashboard update includes the amount on our wallets in store

Cool, sounds like you won't need more than 4TB. Nothing crazy here. :woot:

Looks like 360 BC will launch in November for Xbox One with "100+" games said though no list is given.

Apparently, MS also said that future Xbox 360 games that will be available through GwG will be BC on Xbox One. And you still get to actually keep them, as far as I know, so it actually makes it a good deal since, unlike the One and PS Plus, you will still have them even if you decide to discontinue Gold at some point.

oh, so with 360 GwG games, we can keep them even if we don't continue subscribing to Gold, but not so with the X1 GwG games?

It looks like Microsoft might actually have good support for Backwards Compatibility this time

Yeah, when they first started doing Games with Gold, you straight up owned it whether you had Gold or not. Then PS Plus came around, and they did it were you only owned the game as long as you were a subscriber, and MS followed suit with Games with Gold on the Xbox One. As far as I know, though, the 360 GwG still functions where you still own the license to the game in full.

ah, I see. thanks.

would be nice if we could keep the X1 GwG games even without a Gold sub, but oh well.
