The Dark Knight Rises Tom Hardy as Bane VI

Oh, without a doubt; that'll take from a couple to a few days a week at the gym, morning/evening jogs, and cut soda completely out of my diet. My main problem is going to be shaving my head; it's long already and my lady would have a cow if I show up one day as bald as a cue ball. :oldrazz: It'd be fun though.

You have to constantly be eating and lifting. Also get some Whey protein (definitely recommend Whey isolate).

Chicken, pasta, veggies (cauliflower, broccoli) and lifting of course. They have some really good routines online especially in the bodybuilding forums as some have already mentioned.

Do that and you'll start seeing results in no time. Don't overwork your muscles if you're doing this, rest is key as well. Don't want to cause over fatigue or destroy the muscles you've been building.

Chicken! Fish and Turkey is even better. If your really skinny peanutbutter is a good source of protein aswell.

Excellent choices of food as well.

A combination of all of those is the best.

Mixing whey protein with peanut butter, whole milk and vanilla ice cream is also good. Although I personally include the ice cream because I have to constantly battle my own metabolism. Not sure if it's the healthiest ingredient only recommend it if you have problems maintaining weight on yourself.

Whole lot of protein and calcium though so with a good workout it all goes to good use.

Like I said all of this info is available at bodybuilding.com in reviews and forums. You guys are all right with your recomendations for getting bigger, but it's always trial and error. One person can workout and eat a certain way and see great results and another person can do the same routine and see medicore to no results.

I've been doing this for a long time and naturally have a tall and lanky build and so far am nowhere near my goal but that's the fun of the challenge. I also recommend taking casein protein before bed, and some other basic enhancer supplements such as creatine and argenine pre workout and glutamine post workout.

There are tons of awesome techniques but we all know how really hard it is to get big in a short period of time, which is why though Hardy isn't as big as I would have prefferred for Bane, I'm impressed with his gains in the time he had.

Creatine causes you to gain fat if you don't keep working out and excersizing correct? It must be after a long period of time of using it though.

Alot of supplements and techniques in trying to get big will make you gain fat, it's almost impossible to actually FULLY bulk without gaining some fat, even if your intake of fatty foods is very low, and if your trying to get big you better be working out at the minimum 4 days a week.

Remember the harder you lift the more fat and calories you burn off, just keep your cardio consistent with it, if your trying to really bulk I would say twice a week of HIIT training is perfect.

But again any technique is trial and error and can take more time then expected to get your results, remember everyones body is built differently so in effect will get different results.

Hardy is not so tall, more mass won´t look good, anyway we still haven´t seen him in his full Bane shape.

All Hardy has right now is mass, he's not ripped you can tell that from even looking at the official pic showing his back. To get ripped to have to lose weight, to bulk you have to gain weight, it's a simple logic ya see.

I'm sure Nolan didn't tell him "Tom old chap I want you to lose as much weight as possible".

Yeah but that was like a month ago, I am sure he is still training, besides not being ripped is not a problem, they can do camera tricks for that and if not possible, a lot of formidable fighters are not ripped, Fedor scares me way more than the beachboy that trains for a bodybuilding contest.

I could never see myself using creatine. I'd constantly worry about it.

I'd much rather eat more and lift if that still works. Although the thing is eating more than your used to.

You never know how your body will react, the only way to find out is try.

I just would do cardio 1-2 a week while lifting of course, for serious muscle gains.

their is only one way to get bigger, more food= more results.

Creatine makes you stronger, at least from personal experience, but its not for everyone.
multivitamins are good.

I'm one of those "hard gainers". I've got a small bone structure. But i'm about 5'10 170 pounds and 11% body fat. I'm happy with that. I don't wanna be massive.

well im 6'1 so.

im a bench, squat, deadlift guy.
in fact I think im gonna hit the weights in bout an hour, just got off work.

I wish someone taught me how to lift for strenght, all I can do is pull ups, with weights I would get stronger.

Lucky. I'm naturally stocky. I'm aroudn 5'8 but right now I'm at about 180lbs. I don't have much fat either, because I work out a lot, but I've been focusing on trying to stay lean, because it's very easy for me to bulk up.

I already went as Bronson last year. I was clearly the star of the show.

I went as Jason with my super awesome mask

"Before I get through here. Y'all be wearin gold plated diapers."

Try the Stronglifts 5x5 method.

That will get you strong fast, and its very simple.
