The saddest part is, is that you're fighting with those "permitting" (for lack of a better word) the changes Nolan has made, then getting pissy when someone calls you on being too stuck on features that don't matter. I've got new for you: the height isn't imperative to us getting Bane in a Batman movie. Nobody's saying that Bane has to be short, just that if he was Batman's size, it'd make no difference in us getting the CHARACTER.

CHARACTER. It's the key word. It's important.

And I've got more news: the trailer shows that Bane will indeed be pretty huge, as does some of the shots that have been released. All this pissing and moaning has been for absolutely nothing.

Well I've already explained a thousand times how his appearance is important to his character, just like how important looking like a bat is important to Batman and looking like a clown is important to the Joker.

I don't talk about Hardy's acting because I have no issue with that area, which is why I'm only complaining about his (potential) appearance.

Proof again that you're just giving my posts a quick glance, I've acknowledged this many times, of course I don't jump to conclusions and take that as fact. It's too hard to tell from that one shot. But you know what? I'm optimistic!

No, the issue is that some people have been defending the mere idea of a short Bane, and that's just ludicrous. Then again, we have people saying that Catwoman has nothing to do with cats, so I guess this line of thinking is common on these boards.
