Here it is I noticed that the insulator part of his mask seems to be missing

Why have the pics gone too much info or a stuff up on set

I'm guessing people keep hotlinking the images and eating up that account's bandwidth.

I wonder if he is bowing down, but is further away from Batman because they're shooting him closer to the camera to make him look bigger?

very good point. does look like that to me too.

Bale is standing between the doors. he is in shadow. the light is shining on Hardy. they are not both in the shot. Wally is filming Hardy and Bale waiting.

Nice I didn't even notice that at first. Appears maybe they won't even be in the scene together whatever it is.

If he leans on the wall I wonder if it would sound like bubble wrap.

Well I've already explained a thousand times how his appearance is important to his character, just like how important looking like a bat is important to Batman and looking like a clown is important to the Joker. And I've already explained to you a thousand times how it isn't. Especially when comparing him to The Joker and Batman. His height doesn't make him Bane. Batman's costume and Joker's whole get-up largely make them their namesakes. That's the part you don't seem to get.

You can stick another, smaller person in there who does what Bane does and still have it believably be Bane. You can't put a dog mask on Batman and still make it Batman, nor can you make The Joker some random fool without the gimmick and still have The Joker. Their images tie into their characters. The only part of Bane's image that ties into his character is his muscularity, as he spent his entire life in prison perfect his body and his fighting to become who he was. He didn't spend his entire life hitting supernatural growth spurts to become who he was. Also, keep in mind: Grounded in realism. Good luck making him grow a few inches just for "his character". The fact that you believe that is mind-numbing.

I don't talk about Hardy's acting because I have no issue with that area, which is why I'm only complaining about his (potential) appearance.

Proof again that you're just giving my posts a quick glance, I've acknowledged this many times, of course I don't jump to conclusions and take that as fact. It's too hard to tell from that one shot. But you know what? I'm optimistic! The comment was geared more toward everyone who's doubting it, not just you. So no, I didn't give it a quick glance.

No, the issue is that some people have been defending the mere idea of a short Bane, and that's just ludicrous. Then again, we have people saying that Catwoman has nothing to do with cats, so I guess this line of thinking is common on these boards.

The second line is most certainly ludicrous, I completely agree there. Much like Batman and Joker, you can't have these characters without their costumes, as in all three characters they are very large parts of what they do. Characters like The Riddler, Bane, and Hugo Strange have no need for a specific appearance, save for maybe a few elements (such as Bane's build, not his height). You can take The Riddler out of his green suit and still have him function as good as, if not better than he does in the comics. You can make Hugo look more like Bruce Willis and still have him function, again, as good as, if not better than he does in the comics. Bane's height doesn't have any effect on how he functions. Catwoman, Batman and Joker not appearing in the the costumes that largely function as the very reason (or extremely closely related to the very reason) that they even exist in that way is detrimental. Taking minor qualities about a character that will not change a damned thing isn't. Writing 101.

I guess its possible the pic could have been taken inbetween filming and Hardy was literally taking a breather by taking the muzzle to gasp for air lol

David and Goliath.

Gotta love you JAK even though I disagree with almost everything you say. There is always a guy like you on internet forums and it is essential imo.

There's definitely something going on with Bane's neck, probably related to venom pumping through his veins.
