It'd be funny if Bane was just a red herring and died in the first five minutes like Jamie Foxx in "Stealth." This guy would look like a real idiot.

I was thinking about Bane's voice last night, wondering where I heard it before. And then it hit me. He sounds like Boris Karloff, British actor better known as the Frankenstein Monster. Karloff's voice could be very gruff and deep, but also very soft and raspy, like an old man. Hmmm...

To be more specific: he sounds like Karloff in THE WALKING DEAD, a classic horror flick from 1936.

As for Bane's voice, I really don't know what to say...I can't say I hate it, but I can't say I like it either. I'm much more interested as to why they decided to go in this direction with his voice though.

^This is why you wait until AFTER the movie comes out to get it permanently inked onto your skin.

Say what you want about the movie, the quality of the artwork here is actually pretty impressive. If I didn't associate those characters with horrible painful memories from my youth I would think this was pretty kick-ass. I probably would have left out Freeze though. And positioned it somewhere else.

Can't wait to see the physical side of Bane. Its funny because if you look at some of the videos that Subaru posted you can see that at times when Bane is fighting Batman he casually walks towards him while holding his vest or armor.

That's because Nolan has delivered several films that are of Oscar caliber. It's more realistic for a lot of people to believe that this film could be another film of that quality rather than the next Spider-Man 3.

Perhaps you are correct and and of course the finished product needs to be heard before making a final judgment but at the moment there is no denying it sounds laughably bad.
