^I'll give you that, but after watching Inception Nolan proved that he can pull off FANTASTIC fight sequences. From what I saw with the Pittsburgh brawl and the camera angles it looks TONS better from BB and TDK. And with a character like Bane you would have to step up the fight sequences; so all in all, I don't have any real doubts on how the fighting will look...

But I've been wrong before... :awesome:

Haha his weight may be more but I can tell he has a nice chunk more fat than he did in Warrior now. Those traps were huge, he really did look like a hulking beast and a true badass.
Yeah I have a feeling he'll be bringing that same intensity to Bane. That's what I'm really looking forward to!

I like both The Fighter ans Warrior equally, theyre both two very different films.

I just got out of Warrior. Hardys performance was great, but I thought his character was a bit hard to believe. His fight sequences were the best ones though, by far. I cant understand why, even with real fighters, the fights couldnt have been more realistic and cool.

Hey guys, I've been avoiding these forums for awhile because I've been trying to keep away from spoilers, (though I check batman-news every day)... but I just came in to make a quick comment:

I know the whole "Hardy's size" debate has been a heated subject of discussion here, but I must say, looking at this picture, Bane looks pretty damn massive. If this is how he will look in the film, I'll be more than happy. Perfectly meets my expectations. Intimidating, but not stupid-big.

Thoughts?

I'm actually looking at the people in the background. It looks like something is going on there...

**** that vest.

Bane should be shirtless the entire film .

Yeah wtf, they're all looking and laughing at something in particular. Can't make it out though.

It might've been after Hardy threw tshirts into the crowd since a bunch of people seem to have their arms raised. Throughout the day people (possibly including myself :o) got increasingly more excited and slightly crazed whenever they saw Rogues shirts coming.

I mean if you think about it he's already at a disadvantage towards Batman in terms of who's being protected by armor.

Batman's a walking weapon, I think it's reasonable and a good enough reason to convince me that Bane needs some sort of armor/kevlar.

Boom? No. Rag, and a good amount of others? Yes.

I really don't understand what you're trying to say here. More realistic? Ummm, I've been in Martial Arts since I was seven, and started training in MMA when I was fifteen.

The fight scenes were impressively realistic.

I would have to agree. The fight scenes were shot up close, intense and felt like you were part of the fight with still being able to tell whats going on.

Hands down this is the most "realistic" MMA film thats ever been released, whos going to argue with me on that? To be honest most MMA films are complete garbage.

Exactly. The fight scenes were captured perfectly. They were gritty, nasty, upclose and personal. Everything that MMA is about.

Oh god, don't get me started on Never Back Down.

Doomsday Never Back Down was exactly what I was reffering to.... Lmfao

They wouldn't train so much and so hard for pretending to fight. All of that stuff is real. Tom said they had hours and hours of fight footage.

Yeah, im a BJJ black belt and i've trained MMA since it was called NHB in 1995. I guess realistic isnt the right word. I just think that, spending millions of dollars and having one of the people being a real fighter they could look more natural i suppose. The techniques were completely realistic, it just didnt seem to flow. The best fight scene ive seen in a long time, or ever, is the pit fight from Sherlock Holmes. It appears natural and fluid, even if the techniques arent as realistic.
