Why not? Batman is proficient in multiple styles. Not just "elbow, arm lock, forearm hammer blow, elbow". Fight scenes in a Batman movie should be a big deal, martial arts is a major part of the character.

All i ask is that the fight scenes actually look like people fighting. And look good. In TDK you had people BLATANTLY standing around waiting for Batman to punch them. Or stunt guys overselling being hit worse than WWE wrestlers.

Unacceptable.

We have plenty of photos of Hardy in costume, on set, and filming a scene. Not once have we seen him wearing boots with 3" lifts.

I've seen them publish a lot of ******** in my life, but this makes the top five. At least with the "Eddie Murphy is The Riddler" report, there was no proof to discredit it (other than common sense). Here, there is plenty of photographic evidence readily available to prove they're full of ****.

Look at any of the full body shots from the Heinz field shoot, it's obvious he's wearing lifts.

Just standard, thick-soled military boots to me. In no way are those "three-inch lifts."

Look at the angle of the "heel" portion, and the heel itself, they're at least 3 inch lifts.

so heres a question, What if it turns out that bane just uses the mask as a rebreather for life support purposes only,and doesn't use venom of any kind and how he looks in set pics and the trailer is how he looks and he's just a trained mercinary with the nickname of bane how will everyone feel?

It might be all that they wanted, or that Hardy felt comfortable with. I'm sure with just these couple inches physically added, coupled with some forced perspective Hardy will look quite imposing.

Yeah he's as tall or taller than everyone in that picture. Very good observation Yurka. I imagine that they just aren't making him wear them during fight scenes because they're ridiculously uncomfortable. They'll probably resort to other techniques for fight scenes.

Then I'm curious as to why people are still debating Bane's height if these pictures make it clear that Hardy has lifts. I guess that means he'll be Batman's height.

He looks as though he's wearing lifts there at Heinz field but at the courthouse scene he dosent look to be anywhere near as tall as Bale, which to me is strange.
