What does Asperger's syndrome have to do with that?

Yeah, I'm actually very confused by that; people with that syndrome are very private, anti-social, and keep to themselves. It's pretty much a child like form of ******ation; how does this follow with Christopher Nolan?

Thankfully Nolan doesn't have aspergers so he's not going to worry about this thing.

Remember when Gary Oldman out his accent on the roof top and with Two Face in TDK? Did that ruin ?

But this is something that will be persistent throughout the whole ****ing movie if it isn't changed. Slipping an accent is not the same as not being able to hear what a main character is saying.

It is usually misdiagnosed as adhd and it just causes the person at a young age to not develop social skills meaning if they dont like something they don't know how to say I don't like this or that they throw fits and have major temper tantrum because they can't get what they are really feeling out. It's certainly not matching up with people's idea of bane, which doesn't nessesarily make it bad, just different. Possibly better...I can't wait till i see this thing.

I think that's the main issue really. I don't think anyone here, who didn't particularly like the look of Bane already, can say they didn't have preconceived notions about the performance as a whole, especially after the Heinz field audio.

So that's my take. I expect the voice to sound weak. Vocal chords cannot be strong after constantly breathing in all that gas for all that time.

We're in agreement here, but I will reserve judgement until I see this myself. If it's as muffled and terrible as some make it out to be, it could potentially be an issue. But I feel Nolan has a reasoning behind it, and something as simple as constant inhalation of gas could be it. Not to mention the extent of his injuries, and their origin.

I'm sure at the end of everything, his audio will be mixed to perfection, and we'll all be *****ing over the color of Jim Gordons mustache or some such.

Like hulk24 said, Aspergers isn't a form of ******ation. I've lived with it about all my life. Difference is is that I'm not very anti-social anymore though. I do find some of those comments offensive as well.

I'm betting Bane will at least be as intelligible as Watanabe(sp?) in Inception, and I had no problem understanding what he was communicating, even if I couldn't tell exactly what he was saying. And I'm thinking that it might be cool if talking is a labor for Bane, like he has to focus to be understood or he just sounds like a monster. I kind of like the idea of him huffing and puffing before saying something very important.

Now, in one of the descriptions I read, it said that Bane's men willingly sacrifice their lives, staying behind on the doomed plane while Bane leaves with his hostage. Anybody thinking these guys are his own personal cadre, the League of Shadows, or some combination of the two?

I'm hoping it's his own group of men, I would rather not have him be a member of the LoS. If it's his own men, that would be a bit like the comics where the men in the prison respected him and did what he wanted.

Even if he is a member of the LoS, it's not a deal breaker or anything, I just never cared for that idea.
