When it comes to Hardy's dialogue as Bane from the Prologue. A birdie of mine told me this:

"During the editing process (which is happening as we speak) Nolan and Hardy will do the standard additional dialogue recording sessions or ADR's, so his the lines are much more clear. Trust me, the final print will make Bane’s dialogue sound just fine when the final print is released in July".

:batman:
 Great.

Chris Nolan and Emma Thomas comment on Bane/Hardy.

Didn't I tell you guys when Inception came out, that Nolan and Emma wanted Hardy to be in the next Batman film ahead of all others from the cast of Inception?

This was while all the BS rumors were coming out about JGL being Riddler and JGL this....JGL that.

I was saying that I heard they were targeting Hardy ahead of JGL! :word:

Bane looks good here.

Poster gives me the chills! Spectacular!

:batty:

Could they have deliberately made it hard to understand to obscure important plot points? (I'm sure that's probably wrong though. It sounds good that they still aren't done sound mixing for the voices and stuff)

the prologue already had ADR sound in it. no footage EVER is realesed without sound finished. :yay:

That's true. Think about it, they need to dub over that damn IMAX camera noise.

I heard the gunshot from the Joker's gun as changed from the time it was released as the prologue to when it was released in the movie.

this is a small artistic change. we are talking about dialoge sound. this is complex stuff. they record almost everything extra.

We've come full circle as Oldman said things would.

Ah, no. It was aimed at the beating-the-dead-horse smily. Oldman said in one of the earlier interviews that the movie brought things full circle. And it seems like there were complaints about Bane's size as earlier as the first reveal.

Ah, sorry for not getting the joke

i'm really pleased with the route they've decided to take bane. i never thought that i could ever be this interested in a batman rouge other than the joker. i'm truly intrigued to see the final result.

I'm pleased as well! I like Nolan's element of realism in he Batman Franchise. I personally think it would be ridiculous to try and make him as big as he is in the comic book. Bane in the comics and the Arkham Asylum/ City video games does not look like a normal human being, not even a normal human being on steroids (or at least not one that I have seen).

People who have the condition known as Gigantism get really big, but they tend to have health problems that would prevent Bane from performing at the level he must.

He wasnt huge to begin with.

I don't know but he is pretty huge to me. I mean I don't know a single person irl that is as big as Hardy's Bane (not counting height here). So to me that is huge.

Everyone has different preferences and references. He can be huge to some and tiny to some. There is no truth to this question. What matters is how the size works and fits in context of the film and it's world.

I've said it before and I say it again. A The Rock sized guy would look out of place and silly in the world established by Nolan in the first two movies. It is a visual medium yes but it is also more than that. He doesn't need to be comic-book huge to convey the same things as Bane in the comics.

Anyway, new poster. Ridiculously awesome.

......

The world of Nolan is that all the people are the size of Hobbits? Because that's the only way a 6 foot 4 inch guy would ridiculous.

Liam Neeson is 6 foot 4.

This poster summarizes the whole feeling of the film as something violent, desperate and mostly great. Bane is gonna be awesome.

Not talking about height.

Maybe it's just the language thing since english is not my first language. But the word "size" to me is about so much more than just height and length. At least in my language it is.

And people here are way too obsessed the the length thing, it's not like Hardy is a hobbit.
