When I said to my brother that Bane possibly imprisons the rich of Gotham, he said that Bane sounded like a good bloke to him.

The chant seems to be two words. So does it just mean rise or could it be something added to that? It just seems odd that it would mean one word when it's two.
Then again, I suck at other languages so maybe some work that way.

The other word is "fear". That way Nolan is going all the way back to BB. So in TDKR it goes like fearrisefearrisefearrisefearrisefearrisefearrisefearrise until you understand what the man is trying to say.

If people are jacked off by his playboy antics, especially if people are going through economic hardships, they're not going to feel much sympathy at the news, I'd say. It puts Bruce in a position, where he has no choice but to improve his standing with the City.

Yeah, it's a reasonable theory. It could work well.

No one knows what Nolan has written. As always, it will be something that none of us could possibly predict, otherwise we'd be as rich as him.

My theory from the trailer is Bane, his mercs and the criminals he lets loose probably loot and steal around Gotham as the cops have lost control.

Bane breaks Gotham finally doing what Ras and the joker wanted by destroying the will of the people of Gotham making things so bad law and order completely breaks down and people become immoral.

Somewhat like the summer riots in England coincidentally.

Batman and the cops inspire people to fight back and defeat Bane

I really love Bane's voice. Now i can´t imagine him sounding different. It's just perfect for me.

I love it. I saw the prologue and trailer on Friday with MI4 and Sherlock Holmes, and it just excites me.

The "they'll expect one of us in the wreckage, brother" line sounded a bit goofy and was really hard to understand, but other than that I love his voice and his lines. This trailer is just awesome.
I just wish it had more Batman in it, you know?

I've liked Bane's look from day one though.

trust me...i'm not a nolanite. i think the football scene looks really stupid, and i hated the final acts of begins, tdk and inception (although i loved all three films overall). i think nolan is a good, albeit flawed film maker. i do find myself questioning a lot of his decisions. to be honest i think i'm a bigger fan of wally pfister than i am of nolan.

There's nothing wrong with someone wanting Bane to have a luchador mask, just as there's nothing wrong with you guys preferring his new look.

However, you are wrong if you try to deny the badassery of that shot. It can't be done.
