I still don't think he needed to apologize...

Well it's not for me to say, but as a man he did what he felt was right. But if you listen to the radio interview he gave he said that him and the guy he barked on were back friends that same day.

Bales just very passionate about his craft and I resoect that about him a lot.

And yea, actually he did need to appologize cuz screaming at someone is one thing but Bale went on a tangent for minutes and took it too far lol Screaming and cursing and talking down to a man is not what anouther man should be doing but whatever.. it was a moment in time and it was funny LOL

Bale isn't Welsh, he just happened to be born abroad. He's raised in England and his family are English.

You know who I greatly respect for their ability to master accents? Heath Ledger. I can do an Australian accent, but he did a super creepy accent for the Joker, and a very convincing country accent in Brokeback. Most people can do a general Australian accent, but I'm assuming the Australian accent we can emulate is the equivalent to a Midwestern American accent- it's the standard. I can't think of regional Australian accents, let alone personify them for months of shooting a film. What does a creepy Australian accent even sound like?

I was surprised with how high Heath's Joker voice was compared to his deep, Australian accent.

His Joker voice was spot on wierd, creepy and I loved it!

No news, but some old humor...

"I'm gonna drink from a very small cup. [...] For Bane I had to put on weight, and I want to prove, I mean, to fanboys how big I can look when the props are right sized."

Some Tommy news that might have not been mentioned here.

Big things have happened in his a career recently and TDKR definitely is a part of it. But TDKR isn't even out yet and he's got himself some clout already. No surprise though. WB absolutely LOVES him.

Tom Hardy joins WB's first-look roster

'Dark Knight' thesp signs a year after getting Bane role

Tom Hardy has signed a first-look deal at Warner Bros., a little more than a year after he came on board to portray the villain Bane in the studio's "The Dark Knight Rises."

The English actor's recent roles include "This Means War," "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" and "Warrior." In addition to "The Dark Knight Rises" in July, he'll also be seen in August in "The Wettest County."

Hardy's deal was signed on the heels of Warner inking a two-year, first-look deal with Bradley Cooper for his 22 & Indiana Pictures production company (Variety, March 2).

Warner Bros. has about three dozen first-look production and distribution deals, more than any other studio. Its roster of producer-actors includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Brand, Zac Efron, Robert Downey Jr., Morgan Freeman, Steve Carell, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
And a new project!!

Tom Hardy rides with WB biker film

Actor to star and produce under newly minted Executive Options banner

Under his new first-look deal with Warner Bros., Tom Hardy is on board to star in and produce an outlaw biker feature.

The "Dark Knight Rises" star is partnering with Art Linson and John Linson of Linson Entertainment to produce via his newly minted Executive Options banner, which Variety first reported Wednesday.

Story, penned by "Vacancy" scripter Mark L. Smith and based on an original idea from John Linson, centers on a wounded Vietnam veteran who returns home to San Francisco at the height of unrest of 1969. Amid clashing cultures of the Haight Ashbury district, he emerges to become the leader of California's most violent outlaw biker club.

Sarah Schechter overseeing for the studio.

Hardy came on board in late 2010 to portray the villain Bane in the studio's "The Dark Knight Rises." The English actor's recent roles include "This Means War," "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" and "Warrior."

The Linsons, Hardy, and Smith are represented by CAA. Hardy is also represented by Lindy King at United Agents UK and attorney Jason Sloane.

Smith is managed by Anonymous Content.

'Batman versus Bane' arrived today. Noticed something in the Bane of the Demon story. Bane puts Talia at gunpoint, walks to a helicopter to board and this is the conversation.

Bane: "This was your escape? You could not board a helicopter this size!"
Talia: " We were not all meant to escape!" - "For the glory of my father! For the will of the immortal!"

LOS ninjas shout out "To die in service!" and jump off the skyscraper roof. Talia then says to Bane "Such is the power of my father. He is not one to be toyed with."

Quite similar to the TDKR prologue with expecting someone in the wreckage, and that guy happily sacrificing himself.

That biker movie better not happen until after Cicero :o.

I've always been utterly confused the way people keep bringing up Bronson as if it's a movie a person should probably have already seen. It had less attendance than ****ing Steel, for Christ's sake.

A good movie does not necessarily equate to large attendance or even being shown on a lot of screens.
Plus, with all the other options for viewing a movie other than the theater, this is not much of an argument at all.

Is he playing Al Capone in Cicero? Or have they not announced that yet?

I think it's confirmed. He's already preparing. Not physically but after Mad Max I suppose he'll start gaining weight.

Whatched Bronson for the first time last night. It was...odd.

Did you at least get to hear The Electrician?

The finest song made in human history?

I watched it a couple of months ago. It was one of those cases where the performances outshined the movie itself. Tom Hardy did an absolutely phenomenal job, but other than that, I didn't find the movie to be that great.

But it absolutely cleared any doubts about Tom Hardy. The dude is a hell of an actor. Brutal, intense, relentless. Everything Bane needs.

It was my first Refn movie, and it really felt unfinished... Something I thought about his other movies as well. At least the ones I saw. It was also the first time I saw Hardy on Screen, and I was amazed by his performance.

I was suprised when the credits rolled, because it didn't feel like anything had resolved. I suppose that's a risk you take when you make a biography of a still-living person.

Exactly. I had read some articles about his real life, and a lot of interesting parts were missing in the movie.

*giggles like school girl* I hope it goes through; one of my idols will have to be fat like me.... :woot: :hrt:
