I may be mistaken but didn't that picture of him leaning on the car have him in black cargo pants? Then he's wearing black cargo looking pants in the official pic. Those black cargos look a lot like what the Gotham City Swat is wearing.

Idk man, to me it looks the exact opposite. It appears to be right under his forarm that is nearest to his elbow. His arm is placed in the exact spot as if his arms were laying across his knee in a sitting down position. But, either way, I don't think it's worth debating over lol. We'll find out soon enough.

Hardy is super badass and he looks badass as Bane. i hope that Nolan is smart enough to have a badass violent (PG13) fight with Bane and batman. there is no turning back. this is hes last movie and this needs ot have big action and big fighting.

My mind, it is blown. The mask isn't really how I would have done it, but I like this image because it tells me that they're actually using BANE, not some generic merc or strong guy hired by the police. Bane.

Yeah, the pants Bane is wearing look like the type of cargo pants the GCPD SWAT guys are wearing.

Plus to a kick ass sewer action scene in this film!

I wouldn't mind for him to infiltrate the police at one point.

I do think it would be interesting in terms of continueing the theme of how far you will go to root out evil. In TDK, Dent and Gordon and his unit tried to bring down the Joker, who was on the other side of the law. Now in this, the police are working alongside this thing. Dent fell to that side and that could kind of signify the beginning of that. First it was on the other side, then one of their own slid to that side, now that side is on their side. I find that interesting.

As long as Bane is single minded and can think for himself I'm fine. I don't think he'll be a GCPD cop. I do think they'll hire him, but then Bane will have his own agenda he's hiding. Bane will have already broken out of prison possibly and works as a mercenary. Or he'll go to Gotham himself and seek out Batman. Then the police might debate on whether he should join them. Gordon, being batman's ally will of course perhaps the most conflict in this film internally, and be constantly troubled with how to deal with all of this. He'll have to play a role iin his own job to bring down his ally that he knows the truth about.

The pic was taken 5 weeks ago, so this isn't from a scene in a movie. He's just doing different poses, like we always see with other characters.

Agreed; on the front of his mask though I can't tell if those are tubes or maybe a hand or some sort of contraption by his mouth. I know everyone is pretty much convinced they're tubes, but at this point I'm not too sure.

The four or so light silver ones are definitely a system of tubes. Bank on that.

but doesn't this part looks like a tube, and extends to his chest or his front?

My thought is that Bane may actually need the apparatus and mask for health reasons also, if it does give him any increased strength, if any.
