I have to admit, when it comes to the Superman department in the "Arrowverse", we have definitely a come a LONG way since the beginning of this show.

3-4 years ago, we never thought that we would ever see Superman show up as a real character on this show and that his presence would only be felt via text messages or CGI body doubles.

Then when it was first announced that he would be making his first real appearance in the second season, we could never even imagine that he would be given a chance to interact with the other prominent heroes in the "Arrowverse".

Now look at where we are now. After a few years of waiting, we will finally get to see him not only interact with the likes of Green Arrow and The Flash, but fight alongside them as well.

So when it comes to the possibility of seeing him in his own show, I'm not ruling out anything anymore.

Supergirl and the Arrowverse know how to perfectly play homage to the Donnerverse Superman films without directly ripping parts off (unlike Superman Returns). I can’t help thinking if they’d taken a similar approach in the movies that Superman in the movies would be in a much better position.

I might not LOVE him as Supes but he makes a really great Clark.

Am I the only one who liked Superman's New 52 collar (probably yes. Blame Star Trek TNG)

Didn't like the collar in the comics, but I think that black suit looks tight on Hoechlin.

He has the natural tools, but he's just kind of okay. I think if his dialogue wasn't clearly designed mostly to remind people that Superman is supposed to be nice and kind of funny, he might have more to work with.

Also, hey, they doubled down on "Must there be a Superman?"

Tyler has shown what he can do as an evil Superman. Think about what it would be like if played Bizarro, Injustice Superman, Evil Superman from Superfriends, Red Sun Superman, and maybe Flashpoint Superman.

I do really hope that he at least comes back and participates in the Crisis event. I really want to see that supposed showdown that he had with the Reverse Flash in the future as well.

I definitely want a Superman show. Just so I can finally watch him kick ass on his own, without telling Supergirl at the end of an Episode how she's so much stronger than he is.

I am tired of male lead comic shows but just from what we've seen of both characters I'd prefer a Superman show over Batwoman.

Flash might remain because of ratings, but I can see Supergirl and Arrow being replaced by Superman and Batwoman.

If Melissa wants to leave after her initial contract's up, I could see that happening, but not before.

I still don't think a Superman show needs to "replace" Supergirl. They can be very different shows. Just look at SG and Lois & Clark.
