Watch Dogs

I personally care more for Aiden and his story more then:

GTA 5 .. Franklin and Michael are boring stereotypes and in no way the most interesting characters in the game, Trevor..... crazy only gets you so far... still uninteresting,, just a little bit better then the other two in memorable. )
Just Cause 2, I don't even remember the main characters name!
GTA 3, boring guy
Elder Scroll Series... You make the character yourself no writing necessary.

All of these games... Open world and great... but the characters are mostly bland (I know some will argue over GTA 5 on this but compensating with over the top wackiness doesn't always work for me.)

The only games with a story I've ever cared for in an Open World setting are Red Dead Redemption and Watch Dogs. Seriously... it seems like most don't even try and are just about how much you can do after the main plot is over.

Love this game so far about an hour in. The driving is awful though

I disagree. I liked all three characters from GTA 5. I enjoyed Michael's backstory and conflicts with his family in addition to wanting to go extreme again. Franklin was hell of a lot of fun to be follow around and added some nice levity to game, and I liked how he was more or less the mediator of the two. And Trevor was Trevor.

Yea the physics could use an overhaul. You'll get better at it though. Iv gotten used to the driving now and im a pretty damn good wheel man. Still, the system could use work, but you will adapt to it.

yeah kinda figured though Trevor was just insane in that last installment of GTA which remember them saying as much and they still enjoyed it too but it was wearing thin for Steve he may be burnt out on GTA these days . Any way GTA is about going nuts . and they did make clear they are aware this is aiming for what GTA is doing in most of it's installments. There will most likely be a second opinion review done with ether vic and some else or Jose and Ben and it'll be different from what was said here on caring or not on Aiden . but they still said it was an enjoyable game besides that point and they did have fun. Whatever was lacking character with Aiden can be address in a sequel.

Was finally able to start playing tonight. So good. Like others I've done a lot of side stuff and little of the campaign. Any suggestions for what skills to max out first? What side missions to hit up first? I've been doing crimes and gonna do gang stuff.

I'd focus on hacking as you'll be doing it a LOT through the game. Also make sure to snag the focus ability as soon as you can.

I just finished the campaign tonight and damn that was a cool f'ing game. Some pretty gut wrenching moments in there. Iv still got a LOT of side stuff to do so I'll be focusing on that now but I really enjoyed that campaign.

Definitely focus and anything that lets you hack more. After you do about 5 missions it opens up more.

I really enjoy the gang hideouts. They're great stealth missions.

It really all comes down to hacking as many people on the street as possible because it A) gives you money and B) provides info about all the smaller side quests that increase your XP.

about 2 hours in and really a great game. You Happy to see that Pat? Me giving a game good grades

Focus should be the FIRST thing you max out IMHO. Everyone complains about the driving (I don't) but focus will make chases SO much easier.

Whats this about people having some problems about not able to play after the digital download? This doesn't affect physical copy of the does it?

Its too damn bad you cant import music into this bc the soundtrack downright sucks. I hope for Sony to add MP3 support one day and for Ubisoft to patch this in

So far on the soundtrack I've only come across a few goodies. Alkaline trio, weezer and some screeching weasel. :word:

Been playing for a while now and still love it. Got into almost all of the ctOS systems and got all the towers I could. I've done full hacks on 3 people now. I really dig the mobile app too but it's annoying having to keep signing into PSN network but it works great for me and is fun. I've been goofing around so much I'm still in act 1. Really like it

This kinda stuff is unacceptable in a "Next gen" game. Pretty silly.

The car lasting forever is kinda silly but the reflections don't bother me as it was a design choice to get the game working on 3 generations of platforms.

The game has enough problems even when running on ultra with a beast of a pc I would hate to see what adding real time reflections would have done to the system requirements.

So what outfit is everyone using? I'm using the Nemesis which is the black coat, grey pants, black gloves and black military style hat.

LOL at that

I've got numerous outfits, I change whenever I hit a safe house. Currently wearing the winter camo one. I've played for an obscene amount today and have barely touched the story. I'm in act 2 now but I just love all the side stuff you can do in the game. I have noticed some glitches on my ps4 though like a huge wreck at an intersection and the very next intersection will have another huge wreck, and no I didn't cause any of them with flipping the stop lights.

Also coming off the phone or from an online hacking mission sometimes it will get really jumpy for a few seconds but then it goes away. That only happened after playing for several hours though.

I'm currently in the top 9% for online hacking and I've actually yet been victim of a hack. I checked and I have intrusions on. I think I've avoided it since I don't hack nice people and every Blume associate I've hacked I run up on them and non-violently smack though phone out of their hand. I know I have at least one bounty on me though since I didn't know you could do that the first time I hacked a Blume person.

Haven't tried much of the other online stuff but I think I'll have a go at some racing and the team decryption tomorrow. Just really love the 1 on 1 hacking. I've got 5 people on full hacks so far. One guy had to have just left his system on since he stood there the whole time and didn't even look for me, so remember to always pause if you're AFK haha

Also I really like the companion app. I've won 2 and lost one so far with that. It really works good now when lots of people are on and there are all kinds of skills you can get and such as well. Def check it out, I used when I was on a smoke break and it usually found someone pretty quick

Already up to level 6 on the companion app. That thing rocks. Ran 4 races so far this morning and won 3 of them. Anyone on PSN add me as a contact if you have it downloaded ( djKiddVicious ) and challenge me to some races. I always try and do the regular ones so everyone gets points for them. During the day time the quick match option is fast if friends aren't online. Bout to fire it up here in an hour or so and hack out
