I loved these two on screen together and it was an emotional story, but a few of the comedic moments felt off at times and the ending was a little too rushed for me. 7.5/10

Planet of Dinosaurs (1977) - great cheap sci-fi movie. Maybe it was a cheap 1970's soft porn movie in space. But it did have some cool stop-motion animated dinosaurs, that's for sure.

Barefoot Gen (1983) - Great Japanese animation about a boy and her mother, after they survive Hiroshima's A-bombing. Very good.

The Devil's Daughter (1973) - in the middle of the 1970's Satan fever, this move feels like a Rosemary's Baby remake. But Shelley Winters is in it, and Abe Vigoda (Sal Tessio in The Godfather).

3/5 - I think if I had been into Godzilla more as a kid this would have worked better for me, but it didn't. It was still entertaining though. Definitely worth a re-watch for the special effects and for Idris Elba.

I finally got around to watching the first Despicable Me.

In short, I don't think it's a groundbreaking or great movie, but it was certainly very cute. People keep talking about the Minions, but the three little girls are what made the movie for me. All I can really say about the movie is that it's very cute. Haha.

I've heard that the second one is better. I plan on checking that one out sometime soon.

2 Guns 2/3 Guns would be great, especially if they get Sam Rockwell as their Leo Getz type side kick!

They should make an Escape Plan every year with Sly teaming up with a different prisoner every time, but in increasingly ridiculous situations, like having to escape North Korea, then spcae, then getting stuck in a time vortex and having to orchestrate The Great Escape in WWII, then going to hell and escaping there.

Sam Rockwell as a modern Leo Getz? Intriguing!

Haha! I'd buy the box set.

Science needs to de-age Sean Connery down to his late 20's.

I wouldn't make him that young, I'd keep him around the age he was for The Untouchables.
