I just bought the Jurassic Park trilogy. I have an almost 3 year-old who's into dinosaurs, and I'm tired of watching the Disney Dinosaur film lol

I last watched: Home, Age of Ultron, Major Payne, Donnie Darko.

Blackhat (2015)

They dumped this in January? I'm surprised, it's a pretty solid film. Michael Mann shoots beautiful far away clean cityscapes that quickly become close ups of grimy urban decay like no one else. His shootouts remain excellent, the ambush scene especially.

This has got to be one of the few films that doesn't have about half an hour of production shingles to start with!

Batman vs. Robin

Pretty decent DTV this time from WB/DC. I enjoyed it more than Son of Batman and I was particularly chuffed at the cool little intro with Dollmaker and his creepy maniacal children, especially the ones with tools for hands! I'm still not sold on O'Mara as Batman though, he doesn't seem to be putting much effort into the role anymore. 'The Court of Owls' story is watered down, which I was expecting, and disappointingly, Nightwing falls by the wayside again. 6.5/10
