This would be my overall preference:

She looks muscular and tough, but still feminine and sexy, no faux-hawk (that's not a mohawk dammit) and helmet, and no mono-kini
good compromise, right?

I love that costume! I hate the helmet though, as it lets some of her hair out and gives her a Mohawk, I think that's dumb, should be just a helmet and the hair can show from underneath.

I'm not against the helmet in concept, but the execution has been awful. There's just no way that faux-hawk works. If they turn the helmet into more of a facemask like it was with Mar-Vell, then it wouldn't turn her hair into a faux-hawk, and she could still look badass.

I think Dexter Soy came closest to this with the way he drew her:

...but he still had it coming up just a little too high, imo. If they did it like this but not coming up quite so high around her head, I think it could look good.
