Guys what about Jesse McCartney? Marvel has casted some comedians and she's a box office draw.


Why would height even matter? Hell I'm in the Marine Corps Reserve and I've seen some very short females in the military.

Evans and Hemsworth didn't get the "appearances don't matter, it's all about what they bring to the role treatment" so I don't expect Captain Marvel to either.

Personally I just think there should be a balance, I don't care about hair colour since the actress can dye it anyway. Height isn't that important and neither is physique (since the actress is just going to work out anyway).

I missed the part where the "appearances don't match" element applied to Hemsworth. Although he wears a wig, he is blonde. And he's tall.

Height does not mean ****. There are ways to make everyone look taller. You just need to be creative. I care about acting and being able to portray the character visually if height of the actor is off you can always make them look taller like Tom Cruise... that's my point.

We've all seen good actors in bad movies/parts. It doesn't make them a bad actor. Some actors are good, but, for some reason, you may not particularly like them (leaves you cold is as good a way of saying it as any). Some actors aren't really that great, but you like them anyway. Some people disagree on whether an actor is good or not.

And some people post stuff that makes no sense at all and is just a rambling, incoherent blurb.... (See above)

I think Mike is pretty much right; we'll probably be okay with whomever Marvel casts because they've shown they're pretty good at this stuff. Blunt can easily handle this part IMO. Would I love to see Strahovski if she could pull it off? ...uh yeah. I like to see her anytime I can.....

Loved Strahovski on Dexter but I would go with Winnick as Carol

Haven't seen too much of Winnick, but I just don't think she has the charm or likability of Strahovski. I only watched about a half season of Vikings and I think I saw her on NCIS but wasn't really impressed.

I don't think Strahovski OR Winnick have a shot in hell at this, but if I were to choose one of the two, it would be Strahovski. Winnick's good in Vikings but Strahovski has a warmer vibe with more charm, imo.

Rebecca Ferguson isn't even blonde she's a natural brunette while Strahovski or Winnick they are natural blondes and also have the personality of Carol but aren't as well known and Marvel tends to go for lesser known actors which is why I could see Strahovski or Winnick as Carol

Natalie Dormer is listed as a choice but looking at her more, I think she would be best fit for Moonstone when they get to her. She has a look about her that makes me think she could play evil and sadistic well.
