I always viewed Asgard like feudal Japan, closed off from the outside world(worlds), unless they want to play ball. The bifrost bridge is kinda like their Dejima Island.

Looked fine to me too. Wouldn't mind it looking a little more metallic, and a small tunic would work for me too, since he has the cape. But wouldn't be at all upset (or surprised) if it remained the same.

You know what would be ironic? If the Avengers, most notably the Hulk and Thor were surrounded and outnumbered by their villains (let's say the Skrulls for example), and that the Avengers were given a chance to leave peacefully, with Thor trying to convince Hulk to fight another day when fewer innocent lives are at stake, only for one of the Skrulls to call out the Hulk, which causes Thor to utter: "Damn".

It would be a nice callback to Thor's own film to see on how much things have changed in his personality since then.

I'm still wondering as to how they may get around without having to show some parts of Asgard when tackling Thor's return, since him being stranded in Asgard at the end of Thor was a dramatic moment, and to have it suddenly and easily rectified would lessen the impact.
