Speaking of that, First Class is the origin of most of the continuity errors of the franchise yet Singer gets all the blame for it. This kind of double standards is what bothers me, his movie suffers with the problems a lot of people judge Singer's movies for but his fanboys always avoid to talk about them.

In general I do think the franchise needs a new vision and new talent but I don't need to trash talk the other directors just to make an argument for that, from the moment it was announced I always expected Apocalypse to be Singer's final film.

first class' tone is all over the place.

many have double strandards with first class.sometimes they say singer had nothing to do with success of film then they will turn around and blame singer for anything they don't like it.

what people say In interviews isn't always the truth.there are rumors singer actully directed a few scenes In FC.and vaughn bailing on DOFP was eather he didn't like singer had so much control over First class or fox showed him the door so Singer could take the regins for DOFP.Plus Vaughn created more
contunity problems with first class than any of the films before they opted to do the time travel soft reboot of DOFP.

They might as well reboot since many will never be sastified otherwise.

Think thats because singer set the early template for the movie, he admitted he was responsible for changing the age of when xavier and magneto met even though he wrote the line that they met at 17 in the first place

Its hard to say what was singer and what was vaughn but singer certainly has said he felt a connection to FC because he was involvement to a certain degree

That's what they SHOULD do, that's what the ending of Apocalypse implies and it would be a mistake not to do it. The only X-Men movies with an active X-Men team fighting a threat are X1 and X3. The others are either with the team broken (X2 and DOFP) or origin stories(First Class and Apocalypse).

They do need to establish Cyke and Jean's romantic relationship this time because they damn sure didn't spend time on it in the past films. And they need to give Storm some focus as well.

It's always been weird to me how quickly they've been to give Singer credit for First Class over Vaughn. But, quite a few are clearly not that in touch with the reality, as has been shown.

The problem with how Cyclops has been handle, is that many don't really care about him. He is kind of irrelevant in the eyes of general audiences.
