It was a movie made in the 2000s with half the budget of First Class, the comparision only serves to prove my point.
No, it was released in the 2000s, it was made in the 90s.

Speaking of that, First Class is the origin of most of the continuity errors of the franchise yet Singer gets all the blame for it. This kind of double standards is what bothers me, his movie suffers with the problems a lot of people judge Singer's movies for but his fanboys always avoid to talk about them.
In general I do think the franchise needs a new vision and new talent but I don't need to trash talk the other directors just to make an argument for that, from the moment it was announced I always expected Apocalypse to be Singer's final film.
Another situation where sometimes you should've quit while you're ahead.
They aren't good numbers but what can one expect from a cheesy looking film with no hook and lack luster reviews? You can't really spin anything good out of these box office numbers for a comic book superhero tentpole on Memorial Day weekend.

Big Eyes was good. Frankenweenie, fantastic.Tim Burton and Johnny Depp suck now. The first Alice movie was garbage and a flash in the pan hit.
I'll just say I won't give up on Burton. Not when he actually cast quality actresses I love.I still haven't seen Big Eyes babe. And I know you liked Alice, it's just that I didn't.
Pretty much.
He definitely puts together good casts.I'll just say I won't give up on Burton. Not when he actually cast quality actresses I love.
Don't say the "f" word, people will accuse you of wanting a Marvel clone movie. For the next X-Men movie if they put more emphasis on the team idea they probably can have more fun with it.

That's what they SHOULD do, that's what the ending of Apocalypse implies and it would be a mistake not to do it. The only X-Men movies with an active X-Men team fighting a threat are X1 and X3. The others are either with the team broken (X2 and DOFP) or origin stories(First Class and Apocalypse).
You mean on the board where people like to bash Vaughn and First Class to back Singer? Nah.Well I would agree with that, but it doesn't change the fact that you're being extremely defensive.

The problem with how Cyclops has been handle, is that many don't really care about him. He is kind of irrelevant in the eyes of general audiences.Considering Cyclops was treated like garbage in the past I doubt fans will whine about him getting more focus. They do need to establish Cyke and Jean's romantic relationship this time because they damn sure didn't spend time on it in the past films. And they need to give Storm some focus as well.
