When does that even happen? Most of the time its the other way around

You haven't seen where people praise Singer more than Vaughn for First Class? Where they claim Singer was a shadow director. Where they say he was so involved, he may as well have been the director.

But then, this forum has a tendency to dismiss others works.

I have repeatly said i think First Class is most overated of main X-men films
but regardless yes vaughn deserves credit for the film but some need to go to
singer too. Some online clearly take a film Singer devolped story and was hands on producer to attack singer.hell some try to give Vaughn the credit for
DOFP even though all he did was help devolp the story with Kinberg.Vaughn
didn't produce DOFP and Kinberg hate him or like him wrote the script himself.

with only 80 million projection now for 4 day weekend it's a moot point at this point.I doudt eather Singer nor Vaugh direct next full X-Men film.As fan of singer I hope he walks away and leaves it to Kinberg.

The odds of reboot keep going up and will go up even further if apocalypse does less than 80 million projection for 4 day weekend which we all know is
possable.

65 million OW, ouch, 25 million less than DoFP and 10 million more than First Class. And next week's drop is gonna be epic, not BvS bad, but still harsh.

Deadline's point about Hugh Jackman is right, you need your draw front and center.

Hugh Jackman is a draw?

Even though I love First Class, I'm unsure on what exactly Vaughn did that was so much better than either DOFP or X2. Or maybe people overrate him because he's the only one other than Singer to make a good X-Men movie.

For me, he (Vaughan) gave Mystique and Magneto have clear character arcs, they are completely different at the end of the movie to what they are at the start. The themes of the movie were extremely strong (CMS) and climax was utterly epic, especially with Magneto bringing back the coin that is indirectly responsible for the death of his mother. There is an energy to movie and it 'felt' far more of its era (60's) than the 2 sequels felt of their's. Also, the action felt tactile rather than the CG fest I've come to expect.

For me, XFC is the best of the X-men movies and I put that down to Vaughan and Goldman because all the problems I have with the Singer movies are front and center with XA. With that said, I enjoyed DoFP far more than X2, the latter being hailed as Singer's best. Singer should return to being a producer and bring in a director with fresh ideas.

I noticed that someone said that like a month ago, I totally disagree with it but its nothing that happens nearly as often as people bashing Singer to praise Vaughn.

These numbers are kind of embarrassing.

I would say it's looking more likely Apocalypse being singer's last X_men film and chances of reboot going up.Apocalypse could go under 74 million projection especilly since X-men films almost always go under in totals than projections.

My feelings for Singer haven't ever changed, and I even like most of his movies. I own his Jack on blu-ray and like Superman Returns. Bashing Singer would be to make up lies and to simply talk about how crap he is. Constructive criticism for Singer has been around for years. It is just more glaring obvious post-First Class, as Vaughn showed the ideal balance of an X-Men film. It is the same I have for Whedon's work on the Avengers after TWS and Civil War, even as I am a huge fan of his Buffyverse.

Could you maybe make one post without saying reboot.

Some people really believe that Singer shadow-directed First Class? lol.
As far as I'm concerned, Vaughn gets full blame for that mess. :o

odds of reboot are going up.
I honestly really don't like the idea of having the movies set in the 80s/early 90s, which is why I wouldn't really mind a reboot.
But can we at least keep the current cast? Losing Fassbender and McAvoy would be a shame, and the new entries for the most part look promising. I want to see them interacting with the Deadpool characters.

Vaughn "basher" here. Don't wanna talk about this in the box office thread. >-<

Think he's a much better director on his other cbm's as good as some of the writing was (Thanks a bunch for 90% of DOFP's story/script).
Hell, Kingsman is THE best of 2015.
Singer/Vaughn, whoever made the "ok" X-Men film that is First Class, I will continue to regard their work as such.
Just not a fan of the aesthetic and the so-called team dynamic was "ok".

You can't do reboot or present day with firct class cast.

and you comments on them interacting with deadpool says it all.

Marvelrobbins is having a meltdown.
On a slightly more serious note, I notice this is how he or she usually is. What is with Marvelrobbins and psylockolussus? They are super erratic, crazy OTTP. Either everything is perfect and will work out how they envision, or the sky is falling.
