It's time since they are wasting no time here:woot:

I will start on facts

Bryan Singer will direct marking fourth X-Men film behind the Camera

Lauren Shueller Donnor,Singer, and Simon Kinberg are the producers

Singer,Kinberg,Michael Dougherty, and Dan harris devolped the story

Dougherty,Harris, and Kinberg will write the script

James Mcavoy,Michael fassbender,Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult will return fullfilling the 3 film deals they made when they were cast for First Class

Apocalypse will be villain

The story will be somewhat based On The Age of APocalypse storyline

The film will be set In 1980's

The film will have other familar characters In it with Gambit and Nightcrawler
mentioned by Singer as possibiltys

The events of X-Men:Days of future past makes what goes down In Apocalypse possible

Apocalypse's origins as first mutant will be explored

It's unknown at this time If Hugh Jackman will return for Apocalypse

It's also up In the air on Evan Peters,Lucas Till,Any FC actors who missed DOFP,or any other OT actors appearing In Apocalypse

The visual imagry may be bigger than DOFP with some Disaster Move Imagry
part of film

X-Men:Apocalypse Is set for May 27 2016 Release

WHile it remains unknown what plans are for original Cast if any the filmmakers earlier this
year opened door for more with them.

Apocalypse by Kinberg's own words will be at core the conclusion of Xavier,Magneto, and
Mystique's origin story.

It's very likely they will take him down by the end of The film and I personally can't see wolverine 3 being set in AOA future

Also it would be kinda cartoony if they do the whole he was defeated then 20 years later in the happy future he returns so they can do AOA

I honestly think they will adapt it in the 80s in their own way, with elements thrown in

YAY! For some reason, I like these pictures of them working.

That's another reason why I think this is only Apocalypse's introduction, and his return will be later on with the original trilogy cast new-DoFP ending.

I like the sound of that

Apocalypse, Wolverine 3, First Class 3 going into X-Men 5(DoFP was FC2 and X4), and then Age of Apocalypse.

Isn't Apocalypse going to be FC3 since it will feature more of the FC cast?

Anyway, I want the order to be:
First Class 3, Wolverine 3, X-Men 5.

I feel like 2018 is the best option for a X-Men 5 film.

EDIT: Okay I get it, you meant the FC cast having a cross over with the OT cast.

I still think Apoc is too big of a villain to simply get beaten in a one and done movie. It's the same problem Feige and co will have with Thanos, but at least he's had a significant build-up. I've love a temporary solution, which leaves X5 or another prequel down the line where he returns

I would really love to see the Ot cast fight against Apocalypse and this time they would have Cyke, Jean and Rogue! Make it happen Fox!

Once they recast the original characters with younger versions , all subsequent films will include them, barring split timeline or time travel. Unless Apocalypse bombs, that's the only way to proceed.

Not necessarily, there's a big audience for the OT cast out there

Definitely. Whoever they cast for the younger versions, the thought of the Ot cast as the cast who started this franchise and who's in the future will never go away most especially with what the audience saw in X4.

Plus the Ot cast were heavily featured inthe marketing.

Exactly. They aren't signing fresh new faces just to then put them on the sidelines for an extended period of time while the OT makes a film.

Yes those "thoughts" will go away. Just takes a little time and some character development with new cast. These younger actors can totally make these characters their own. They're certainly gonna have more of an opportunity than the OT had. Hell, Marsden's cyclops is already an afterthought. People have been mixed on Berry from the get go. Janssen seems like the only challenge.

IMO, Ot cast will go when Fox will reboot the franchise. For now, they are still the future ( thank DOFP ending) and if Fox wants us them, they have differents options (time travel, spin off).
Yes, the younger versions will be the face of the franchise but don't say goodbye so early.

The Main focus on Apocalypse Is without doudt going to be on Xavier,Magneto, and Mystique.Everyone else will be secondary.Kinberg has hinted as much.If wolverine himself took a bit of backseat to them In DOFP what makes people think it won't be same with Cyclop,Jean,Storm. That will be even more so if there Is X-men-Brotherhood teamup against apocalypse or at very least Xavier-Magneto team up against Apocalypse or Xavier-Magneto-Mystique teamup.

We really don't know what Is future of series post Apocalypse. All we know Is we will get another wolverine film. And even that has major unknowns about it post DOFP.

There have been enough quotes this year you can't rule out more with original cast. Now logicil with how DOFP ended it would suggest mostly FC cast with Hugh Jackman and newcomers but that's not 100 % for sure.

Apocalypse is going to lose the event that DOFP had with both casts.Forget how it turned out In final film a large part of promation involved the Original cast.If noone cared about them why the desire to see the rogue cut scenes or more of future scenes?

Don't forget the series is stuck In Past If they don't use original Cast even though films with them are now mostly gone from contunity.

Apocalypse will probably be a bigger movie then DOFP purely because it has apocalypse and they can't just take a step down and do something smaller now, so I don't think it will need the OT to make it an event movie

I honestly don't think bryan singer, fox and Co see this universe the way some of the fans do where they feel the OT need to get their chance with a big villain or with a certain character, Or they need to use the well known versions of characters, I think they wanna tell good story's and they want to do it their way with the characters they want to use

Yep pretty much and at this point we should have confindence in Singer's vision since all the good films in this franchise has had him involved

With GOTG's 11 million midnight showings it disproves notiong you need stars or being familar to GA however they are 2 big if's before saying X-Men can do same

1:GOTG Is pure comedy. From trailers it hard to take anything seriously.Apocalypse will be much heavy and darker film
2:Fox Is seriously Limited by how they can promate Apocalypse. There won't be any merchandize or tv tieins for it.

People also need to accept Apocalypse will be a james Mcavoy,Michael fassbender,Jennifer Lawrence driven film. Nicholas Hoult and Hugh jackman won't be doing nothing while focus Is on to be announced newcomers.Apocalypse himself will need a bit of foucs.Plus If Channing Tatum Is In Apocalypse then they have to give Gambit something important to do.

If Fox and the X-Men franchise wants comedy (Deadpool) or a team of mercs and asassins (X-Force) they can totally go that route. They could have been doing this with very popular charactrers awhile ago that fans have been wanting. Look at how many people on here were saying Apocaylpse should have been a crossover with those two teams awhile back. He is a major villain of both.

GOTG was perfectly marketed, looked fun and was a great A+ film. Much like many other films this year. It's been a ridiculous year of highly rated films of all kinds.

Untill age of Apocalypse Apocalypse was mainly a X-factor villain.

With regards to X-force for years the only real connection was Cable's actions In 20th century was to foght Apocalypse before he creates the future he was sent to and grew up In.

I have no Intrest In GOTG.For those that do if they like it that's good for them.X-men and GOTG are 2 total different beasts,

Those who say Fox can just be exactly like disney are ignoring the fact of Fox's limits of promating X-men films. No merchandize for X-men films Isn't going to change. The X-Men related films relay on trailers,Tv SPots,Clips, and Actor interviews to promate it.

X-Force, it's characters and Apocalypse are extremely connected. Archangel, Deadpool, Cable, Wolverine, Psylocke and Fantomex were all apart of major Apocalypse storylines. Cable and Archangel being the obvious ones who's ties go back the furtherest.

As for the order they happen in, these films are not accurate as to when the comics are released in any form. Which is a good thing. You should be well aware of that by now.

Honestly, I can see Angel being introduced in Apocalypse, but his character would be more in-depth in the planned X-Force movie.

If Cable is in this movie - which is not that unlikely, if they want to release the X-Force film later on - how would you guys want him to be involved? As a major role, since he's Apocalypse's nemesis? Or in a minor role, since you already have to bounce screentime between the FC trio, the new Cyclops, Jean and Storm, and Pocky himself? Or as a cameo at the end, just to tease X-Force?

Nah, I don't see Cable in this movie at all, especially with young Scott and Jean being introduced.

I think we have a pretty good idea though. They're casting younger versions of Scott/Jean/Storm and Kinberg strongly hinted at following that more traditional team next.

Apocalypse is going to lose the event that DOFP had with both casts.
Loses the appeal of returning cast BUT gains appeal of new cast members, plus the most formidable villain the franchise has ever seen, plus Wolverine is still there, and upgraded spectacle & scale. Still very much an event.
