Off topic but that got me thinking what was the budget for Fake Purse Ninja if he only spent $2,184 on Chubby Rain

DOFP was very impressive compared to budget of previous films.

Unlike DOFP Apocalypse won't be spending a lot on actor's salarys except for
Hugh jackman Inless Channing Tatum Is In Apocalyse.

And Jennifer Lawrence. Her salaries are probably pretty big these days.

Singer also said that they'd actually show the kind of destruction that you only saw the aftermath of in DOFP. So I wouldn't be surprised if we see Apocalypse annihilating entire cities and stuff like that.

Actully this is last film in 3 film contract she signed back In 2010.That Is
reason why it's questionable if she does any more X-Men films after this.

Your likely right.I haven't heard it said exactly what hugh's salary has been for each film but post X2 he has been working on film by film basis.

It's unknown if the FC cast will come back like he has.although they don't have to pay them for apocalypse like they likely will Hugh.

If Channing tatum Is Gambit In Apocalypse he will likely have a big salary too.

I know that McAvoy and Fassbender have both said that they'd be open to doing more films as long as the scripts continue to be good. IDK what Lawrence's plans are.

Some people have said they think Mcavoy may be only one post Apocalypse who may return but that's a question mark for now if FC cast would return like OT cast did.

I think fassbender would return since he speaks fondly of the role and appreciates what the role has done for his career.

I know a few months back he was asked if he would ever do a solo movie and he said yes without even thinking about it and I believe in an interview they both said they would come back for more if the scripts were good

I don't think any of us can speak for Lawrence though

I assume on the 3 film deal they have the FC cast on the cheap and any younger cast will be cheap, jackman will get his usually pay check because he is wolverine

I am still skeptical about that budget, we will have to wait and see for confirmation

Jackman hasn't been confirmed yet so who knows? You expect him to be there. How would he get the adamantium without the Stryker involvement? I don't like the idea of Magneto grafting some half ass metal scraps on him as a cheap plot device. I think they may need Stryker or some Weapons X mastermind that could give Wolverine the procedure.

Or maybe Mystique gets her own team together as others have mentioned. JLaw will probably command a lot of screen time so I could definitely see this. It would also raise more complications, with Xavier and his team, Mystique and her team, Magneto, and the Horseman of the Apocalypse. Obviously Apocalypse could easily give Wolverine the adamantium and make him War or Death. Mystique could also end up in that ring. Guess we just have to see.

Considering probably around half of DOFP's sizeable budget went on casting alone, this is a significant step-up! Hope it's spent wisely and not to turn it into a MoS clone...

It would be awesome if it went to new costumes, but i want them to really showcase the mutants powers like really show what they can do. If they do the Storm orgins when she first appeared in Giant Sized i would be beyond happy.

It needs to have TDKR type scale, relatively speaking. You saw how much Nolan upped the ante with the conclusion of the trilogy. Many thought it was too ridiculous and hurt the film, but the characters held the weight of the story IMO. I also like the grounded, character driven approach in X-Men, and they have a lot more freedom than a Nolan Batman franchise in terms of suspension of belief. Nonetheless, they have to go HUGE, especially with this cast. But not Emmerich ridiculous and laughable.

Most had issues with TDKR plot holes. Those hurt any movie.

I have a feeling that budget will get lower once things start rolling and there's also tax incentives. In my opinion, $240 million is just the ceiling but its not set in stone yet that they will use all that money for production. And also, didn't websites reported DOFP to have a budget of $225 million, then Box Office Mojo listed the budget with $200 million. Fox probably lowered their budget report but still.

I'd rather Apoc didn't go the DKR route of "I'm a bad guy who's mad because of a series of contrived plot twists and with a plan that makes less than zero sense. And I talk like this so no-one can understand me"

There's very little about TDKR that I'd want Apocalypse to emulate. Maybe some actors from the Wire though.
