20th Century Fox is now signing up their actos for long term contracts in preparation for the upcoming sequels of the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" film. The next one on the list will be the film "X-Men: Apocalypse" set for a May 27, 2016 release.
The premiere of the X-Men sequel will also occupy the same Memorial Day slot that the previous film earlier this year. The Marvel film will also be contending with a supposed Disney release, "Alice in Wonderland 2." The contention also mirrors that of the Days of Future Past's premiere alongside Disney's "Maleficent."
Bryan Singer will return as the director for the X-Men sequel as he did with "Days of Future Past." His work involving the old and the new X-Men has laid the groundwork for multiple sequels to come in the following years.
