The trailer and everything said called GOTG a comedy.DOFP Is not a comedy
and with storyline of DOFP you could hardly blame those like myself who didn't
see GOTG Into thinking DOFP Is darker.

Cyclopswasright told me GOTG was comedy with some serious moments.

GOTG and X-men may both come from marvel originally but they are different
properties entirely.

GOTG definitely had more of a comedic tone than DOFP but I wouldn't classify it as 100% a comedy at all. There was some seriously messed up stuff in that as well, specifically with Ronan wanting to, you know, lead the genocide of an entire race of people as the major plot point.

But it's pointless to compare the two because it's two completely different story lines. The X-Men could certainly have a movie that was in line with what GOTG gave and vice versus with GOTG probably having the ability to be just as serious as DOFP.

Deadpool Is probally going to be closest you will see to X related project In tone of GOTG.Most will agree Deadpool should be action COmedy type of film. With doing as much
violence as they can get away with In a pg-13 rating.

Wolverine Is confirmed for film.

The odds of Nightcrawler and Gambit making the cut has increased with them saying others will join cyclops,Jean, and storm In joining Xavier,Magneto,Mystique, wolverine, and Beast as the X-Men face apocalypse.

Intresting report claim Simon Kinberg as sole screenwriters with Michael Dougherty and Dan harris as story writers with Bryan Singer and Kinberg.Well maybe Kinberg Is public writer with them on hand to revise the script when needed as they may secretly have done with DOFP:woot:

If you haven't seen GOTG (or any film, for that matter), then you have no business labeling it as anything.

Interesting that the Deadline article suggests it was the time traveling that leads to Apocalypses (re)emergence.

Don't know if everything in that article is true, though I'd be mighty pleased if it was (Wolverine involved, plus the return of the original 3).

On the site that shall not be named there Is actual many postive comments along with a few negative ones. That tells you how good DOFP was that it got X-men some postive comments there:cwink:

Apocalypse Is sounding like true contuian of DOFP.

And hey we got word that Hugh Jackman will make his 8th appearance as Wolverine:yay: Now we have to wait to see if Horseman Wolverine Is in Apocalypse:woot:

Hmmmm
Apocalypse takes place a decade after Days of Future Past and is a seamless next step in the story. The altering of time has unleashed a new and uniquely powerful enemy. Charles (James McAvoy), Erik/Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Hank/Beast (Nicholas Hoult) are joined by young Cyclops, Storm, Jean and others as the X-Men must fight their most formidable foe yet – an ancient unrelenting force determined to cause an apocalypse unlike any in human history."

That synopsis sounds epic.

Doesn't it? Sounds like the X-Men films we've always wanted. Even more so than DoFP was.

Yeah, that's the first time we've seen anything close to an official synopsis so far.

Now that Singer is officially on AND we have a filming location set, we're soooo close to casting.

With the digital release tomorrow and the blu-ray release in three weeks...this is probably just the start.

i wonder if this synopsis is from a reliable source or is just speculating

I don't see Wolverine being a huge role like DOFP. Should be a Horseman, but I think they will get his scenes out of the way early to clear him up to complete the solo trilogy. Don't expect him in the lead role in any capacity.

Deadline isn't one to speculate.

Hugh Jackman Is very likely to get top Billing especilly since he could be main connection between Original trilogy and FC trilogy In front of camera.

Who knows how large wolverine's role will be.He defently won't be guiding Xavier In this film.DOFP Was Xavier's story. You could almost say Wolverine
took second fiddle to Xavier,Magneto, and lesser extent Mystique. So Bryan Singer knows how to use wolverine to great use and not have film entirely
on him.
