Is this a toy I can't tell I'm on my phone. I hope we get some action figures like we have with BvS and Avengers,a la some Hot Toys figurines would be awesome.

I guess it depends on the script and timing. If it's set in the present/future then Halle and Patrick make more sense (in older mentor roles).

The report mentioned Shipp and McAvoy so it could be set in the 80s/90s. Xavier leading the school and Storm training the new team? They probably have Storm there for cast diversity.

Yea I was going off the report saying Shipp and McAvoy that's why I was confused to hear Berry and McAvoy I don't see how that would work. It'll be weird having Storm training them when she is still new to this maybe the Apocalypse battle hones her abilities a lot. My gosh I hope this rumor is true.

Nope thst sounds pretty corny...

Subtitles that are basic but not being so on the nose that "this is a space adventure people" would be best imo.

New Empire (vague but descriptive enough)
Dark Phoenix Rising
Phoenix Endsong (would love for this to tie in an ot cast to what the new kids are doing)

If there's a major reservation I have about doing the Dark Phoenix Saga, how do you end that story if you aren't going to have Jean kill herself? That's the main punch of the ending.

Yes!! The title alone is already perfect, but they should wait for at least 1 X-Men movie. By that time we'll have X-Force, New Mutants, Gambit and maybe All New Wolverine, great time for a crossover event

We're getting something like that too on FOX NL! Last night during The Flash they aired a tv spot telling viewers to watch the season finale of The Walking Dead on April 4 at 22:00 for an "exclusive preview of X-Men Apocalypse".

The Walking Dead is not a show that i watch but i'll make an exception tonight and record it. I'm not sure i'll be home in time to see it live though.

The struggles of being a Jean fan lol. As much as it makes my fan heart light up to hear X-men: The Phoenix Saga, we might be better off getting a story about Sinister being obsessed with Jean and Scott. It gives the attention to my two fave characters without having to kill off Jean. Nothing can beak the Dark Phoenix Saga but I'd rather the movies have Jean for a while longer.

Yesterday, DOFP aired here on german tv and it got great ratings, a good sign for the boxoffice of Apocalypse

Those don't really flow well as film titles.

X-Men: Intergalactic might work okay, though.

It depends to some extent on the story they are telling.

If it's a space story, the main event is likely to be Dark Phoenix, Shi'ar, Starjammers or M'Krann Crystal, or some combination of those. The Brood is less likely, they were just a rip-off of the Alien xenomorphs.

X-Men vs Starjammers would work okay as movie title, though the Starjammers weren't an opposing team.

The opponents were Imperial Guard, so how about X-Men: Imperial Guard

The term "Starjammers" sounds cheesy as it is, so I don't want Fox to include it in the film title.

My other suggestions for future X-Men film titles:
X-Men: M'Kraan Crystal
X-Men: Phoenix Reborn
X-Men: Onslaught

I would avoid using words like 'reborn, 'age of...', 'return', 'rise...',... .

Maybe one of these:
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
X-Men: Where No X-Man Has Gone Before
X-Men: Shi'ar Empire

The title would have to appeal to casual audiences, a title like "Phoenix Reborn" for example feels abit small and wouldn't make anyone who wasn't hooked up on who the phoenix is excited

I was speculating, since there's no way the series is going to go into the continuity morass known as Madelyn Pryor, they could have Sinister create Cable by mixing Scott and Jean's DNA.
