Jlaw heavy trailer. Great, is time people find out she is in this movie. Is not like she got much time in other two trailers. Trailer description doesn't sound good and that music is horrid. I might actually have to rely on reviews on whether to see this movie or not.

Don't get me wrong I love J.Law & I'll take anything :D But look at the first trailer, of all things the GP only remember "too much Raven", the second trailer "too much J.Law". The negativity will hurt the box office, more or less.

I'm sorry I have to disagree of course said those things but it didn't overshadow the trailer they both got relatively good reviews. If it was hurting the box office that much it wouldn't be as talked about as it currently is the movie is doing fine. I don't care for JLaw much at all but I didn't think it was to much of her it was a nice mixture.

By the "GP" you mean the general public? The general public has no problem with Jennifer Lawrence in these movies; that's a feature of certain corners of the internet. I doubt FOX is much worried about the aforesaid; those groups largely disliked the previous movies too, for one reason or another.

Not a trailer but some may be interested in this :/

The people complaining on the internet are not the GP and for the most part, they are going to complain no matter what simply because they want Fox to give the rights back to Marvel.

there is a trailer description?

Guess I'm tired of the complaining then.

Exactly even the movie sells 2 billion (hypothetically of course) people will still say the movie is horrible and find so much to complain about everything simply because they want Fox to give the rights back to Marvel so the complaining will never end until that happens, which is stupid because they seem to be doing things differently this time around and building the franchise up.

Where can I read this glorious trailer description?

and

by the way, I went to Twitter, and people are also complaining about Mystique.

Just the brief synopsis that was posted someone is doing a little to much. It was only one person who said that was JLaw heavy I thought and it seems like the end of the world.

Did anybody count the seconds Raven has appeared in each trailer compared to other characters. Could be that she's not in it much more but it seems that way cos she's human looking

Darn I was hoping I'd come back and the trailer would've dropped...ah well maybe tomorrow haha

Bwahahahaha that coldwell banker ad identifying Sophie Turner as Rogue was a good pick-me-up today.

^Whats that all about?

I wonder when are they gonna release character headshots?, like the ones we keep seeing in merchandizes? DOFP had a lot of those and were posted in Tumblr/Facebook/Twitter account of X-Men Movies. But for Apocalypse still zero. And I checked the official site, it looks so ordinary.

Are they upset it has to much Mystique or to much Raven? I haven't seen much Mystique in the trailer I'm sure it's not even as bad as people are making it seem.

I thought we got the character shots last week, like the one I have for my avatar?

I am assuming her hiding her blue form arc is acknowledged and the changed of the world because of those DOFP events is acknowledged and that likely is what makes it J law heavy.

I mean it really depends on J law heavy because its required to explain stuff or j law heavy because its j law, its likely the last one is what everyone is gonna assume.

Its both. Because I came across a Michael Fassbender fan account and was not happy that JLaw's dominance in promotion. And the others just want to see the X-Men, like Psylocke. Its interesting to read people's opinion about the film outside of this forum.

There's also a JLAw fan on Twitter defending her that us X-Men stans always blame JLaw/Raven yet no one is complaining that Beast isn't always blue.

I mean that's a pretty valid point.

Was this one posted?

A lot more Apocalypse, Quicksilver in new #XMenApocalypse trailer. Apocalypse tosses Xavier around like a doll. #CinemaCon

I understand the annoyance with large emphasis on Jennifer Lawrence, but to be honest it's just good marketing.

Lawrence 'going to war' was a concept that worked well for The Hunger Games which made nearly $3 billion worldwide. Mystique literally says "let's go to war" in the second trailer.

Plus you have the fact Apocalypse is opening against Alice in Wonderland 2 which is a female-lead film and will likely take a good chunk of female audience that weekend. Having the focus on Lawrence actually gives female viewers multiple options, instead of it being your typical male-skewed superhero movie.

I'm suprised the MRA's don't come out and try to boycott because of "Too Much J-Law" .

I've never understood why people can't seem to grasp that. When it comes down to it, Fox wants people to come see the movie, and if a huge star like JLaw is in it obviously they are going to market the crap out of her.

I guess my question is, attracting JLaw fans/female demographic while alienating X-Men fans vs. attracting X-Men fans in general? Is the former really that much a better decision?
