He has the right build for Nightcrawler.
I think he said in a Collider interview that he wears a muscle suit beneath the armor.

But that's okay, he's just a naturally skinny guy like me.

I love the X-men because they don't all look like Captain America :woot:

I love the new ad. lol at Beast, Cyclops & Nightcrawler wearing their flight suits while chilling.

I have no clue if this is old but I was watching Chinese GP and I saw this ad. Recorded & uploaded it.

enjoy

But what else is Moira going to do in the field? ;)

Yes, my guess is that the true story arc will be about Jean finding the gun Moira used in FC. The last scene will be Jean going to Muir Island where Moira is living in exile. Jean will reach the gun to her and they'll stare at eachother, standing on a cliff. Then the screen goes black and the credits start to roll.

I just listened to some of his stuff on iTunes. I like it. So hopefully that song will sound epic in the trailer.

I loved during DoFP promo when they were releasing those power videos and they used Hate and Glory by Gessafelstein. Was so good.

So it's definitely not the con trailer we are getting.

On Heroic Insider yesterday, they said the next film is The Dark Phoenix saga.

What really? Link?
Seems like a little quick to go right back into that story again but if it means the Shiar then I'm down.

"Hear me, X-Men! No longer am I the woman you knew! I am Fire and Life incarnate! Now and forever - I am PHOENIX!"

I would collapse in my frackin seat if we see a scene like that. The more I think a proper Dark Pheonix Saga would be epic. As I said a few pages back a shot of Jean with the actual bird effect just would be an amazing shot and will get people excited.

Thanks for the link!

It's nothing new though unfortunately. We know there will be hints of Phoenix within Jean in Apocalypse, but it doesn't sound like the next movie has been confirmed as of yet. It sounds more like people extrapolating based on what has already come out in interviews.

to do a proper DPS, means Jean has to die. I dont want that and IMO its too early to even go there. We need to see her in a film as an established member with her regular power levels before amping her up to Phoenix who goes on to lose her mind and need to be put down like some rabid dog. There is more to Jean than just Phoenix so I dont want to see this be the focal point of her characterization yet again. It gets old bc it seems to be how the movies and cartoons from the past decade all want to portray her as. I was hoping this timeline would be a chance to not go down that route and actually do something different with the character

They don't have to kill her they can go a number of ways with it and besides Pheonix meaning is dying and being reborn from the ashes so if she died she wouldn't stay dead. I just don't want another weak Jean who can't even beat Toad, they can even go the way she went in All New XMen. Pheonix was also a mainstay member of the team for awhile so it dosent mean we will never see the character again. Though I do want them to establish Jean as Jean for at least one movie first, I'll say one more movie then bring it out.

I used to think that for Phoenix to work Jean would have to die but I think the way it was handled in the cartoon was actually pretty good. Something similar to that would be fine with me.

Exactly she dosent have to die it could just be a turmoil she is dealing with inside of herself that comes to a conclusion at the end. It dosent spell out death and as I said it can bring in the Shiar

The whole Jean dies and is resurrected is overdone as well. I really dont like it being about how she is so powerful, yet cant handle the power and it drives her insane which is the basis why she goes all Dark Phoenix. Id rather a powerful, strong Jean that is in control of herself and abilities, not one with such a fragile mind.

She doesnt need to have Phoenix power levels to defeat someone like Toad. This isnt 2000. The way these characters are being handled is far different. I mean look at Storm from the trailers compared to the first film. I have more confidence in how these characters are portrayed.

the cartoon was very kid friendly though and they werent about to have her murdered or commit suicide. The films are more adult and handle darker themes. That kumbaya moment with holding hands as they spare a piece of their souls for her wont fly in a film

there needs to be repercussions to her actions. To bring on the Shi'ar implies that you at least want them to stick close to the original story involving her destroying a star, resulting in the destruction of a planet and billions of lives. The only reason the Shi'ar was involved bc her actions had far larger cosmic implications beyond Earth. Anyone that does something like that needs to die and quite honesty was the most poignant and memorable thing about the story. Whats the point of adapting it if you are going to take the key scene out?

Agreed. I don't mind the Dark Phoenix story being told once more one day properly (hopefully not any time soon though) but really I'd prefer for Jean to be an able-bodied, confident, leading member of the team at some stage. I'm not too keen on seeing her either too vulnerable or overpowered all the time, it's not as conducive to a good team balance.
