Tastes differ. The thing I find about those suits is that they seem more fitting for the 80s era.

I don't like the fact "everyone has their own color" which to me screams "power rangers" i honestly wouldn't be shocked if the new PR film has suits similar to the 05 x-men comic looks

Wouldn't be very "edgy" if they did. :oldrazz:

X Men films need to get Mike Wilkinson(DC Costume Designer)

I hope to God the new Power Rangers film isn't scared of its team looking like the Power Rangers.

seems like the took inspiration for the costumes at end

Cyclops-1990's version with visor from astonshing X-Men
Jean-cross between 1990's and first class comics
Nightcrawler-classic look
Mystique-her X-factor uniform
Beast-ultimate X-Men
Quicksilver-X-Men evolution

not sure on Storm.

Well they were certainly scared of Rita looking like Rita.

But I'm not of the haters for that one...

well.. it's scared of Rita looking anything remotely like Rita... so it's up in the air at this point on that unfortunately :(

My thing is i get it.. she's the "mother of monsters" so she has a sorta Lilith/Echidna thing going on.. and the green/gold is likely refernce to the green ranger... but.. i don't think that look or costume is necessarry.. sure, the classic iconic look wouldn't work today.. but that doesn't mean they couldn't of include the color scheme and design elements into a new costume either.

i'm more worried about the fact she's apparently more of a "hunter?" now than a witch?

I agree they could've adapted elements of her original look into that costume. As is she doesn't look like Rita. But at this point I'm more concerned about the Rangers.

Give to much and peope complain, dont give enough and people complain, but if you give the right amount... people complain.

Never gonna please everone

I really like their new costumes. I'm sure that is either in the last scene or very close to it.

I had guessed Jubilee, Psylocke and Havok were going to bite it, this doesn't necessarily confirm that, but it doesn't hurt the theory either.

Is there a larger version of this somewhere? If there's one thing that drives me nuts, it's when studios release an awesome new pic but it's the size of a f***ing baseball card.

All of them look great with the exception of Jean. Wish they had thrown some orange in there.

And the Grass is Green and the Sky is blue

this isn't anything new.... and complaining about complainers certainly isn't helping...

is there actually a franchise that everyone is always 100% perfect with? I know i can't think of one.

eh.... the Young time displaced 05 X-men have terrible comic costumes imo.. glad they didn't go that route.

If you notice there seems to be a clear inspiration from the ANXM costumes at least in terms of costume design ignoring the ANXM color schemes.

I think that no one would bite it. Even if Havok seems to die in Cerebro's Battle he could still be alive and captured by Sinister. We may see this in future movies.

And for JubiLee Singer said that he wants her for the X-Universe and Olivia Munn has signned for three more movies.

Cool, I hope so.

Just thought this was interesting.

Apoc's costume designer seems to be Singer's go-to guy who also worked on Insurgent, GI Joe 2, Origins: Wolverine, and Hancock.

The costume designer for First Class worked on Ant-Man, both Kick-Ass movies, Hellboy II, V for Vendetta, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Stardust. He's currently attached to Assassin's Creed.

The Deadpool costume designer did a lot of tv-related work, AVP:R, Catwoman, and Moulin Rouge

The X-Men The Last Stand costume designer did Civil War, The Winter Soldier, Goosebumps, The Last Airbender, Cirque Du Freak, the first Hunger Games, the first Harry Potter, and now GOTG 2.
